Choice found out what JB’s ‘One Time’ girl, Kristen McDow, is doing
6 years later, and she tells what a 15-year-old Justin Bieber was
really like.
人民选择奖在六年后找到了拍摄JB One Time MV的女孩——Kristen Mcdow，她也向我们讲述了十五岁的Justin Bieber是什么样子的。

JB’s ONE TIME love interest looks back on the ONE TIME MUSIC VIDEO, six years later.
通过采访我们得出：

People’s Choice: First off, how did you land the role as the lead in Justin Bieber’s first music video? Was this your first music video or had you done things like this before?
人民选择奖：首先，你是怎么样得到JB首个MV女主角的角色的?这是你拍摄的第一个MV吗，还是你以前有过这方面的经验？
Kristen McDow: I received a call to do a meet and greet with Justin out in Venice Beach. Justin was doing a photo shoot and when he finished we just met and kind of hung out very briefly. The following day, on a Sunday, is when they were going to do the shoot, when my manager and I headed home again and we didn’t receive a call we assumed that they went with someone else… And they had. The next day…I was outside and my mom came running outside telling me I needed to get ready because they decided they wanted me on set for the music video.
KM：我接到一个电话，电话里的人让我参加面试，并会在威尼斯海滩和Justin见面。当时Justin在拍摄照片，等他拍完后，我们见了面然后简单的出去玩了一下。接下来的几天里，他们要在星期天做一个拍摄，所以我和我的经纪人在回家的路上没有接到电话，我们以为他们找了别的人拍MV…他们确实找了其他人。第二天，我在外面，我妈妈非常激动的跑出来告诉我他们选择了我拍MV，让我做好准备。
Once we got there is when we found out that Justin had picked me specifically, even before we had done the meet and greet. But for some reason they went with another girl. When Justin found out that I wasn’t playing his love interest he told them that he wanted to wait for me to get there and have me be the love interest. Hence the reason I am only really in the second half of the video.
当我们到达那里的时候才知道Justin在我们见面之前就已经确定让我来当MV的女主角了，但不知道为什么他们找了别人。当他发现女主不是我时他找到他们，说他要等我到达并且让我来当女主角。所以说我真的是这支MV不可或缺的一半。
PC: Justin Bieber was still a relative newcomer when “One Time” was released. Did you know who he was before auditioning? Were you a fan of his music?
人民选择奖：在推出One Time的时候，Justin还只是个新人。面试之前你知道他是谁吗？你是他的乐迷吗？
KM: I didn’t know who Justin was at the time, although I think a family friend a few months back showed me one of his YouTube videos covering a Justin Timberlake song. I didn’t put it together until way after though.
KW:那时我还不知道Justin Bieber是谁。虽然几个月前有一个亲戚给我看了他在YouTube上翻唱Justin Timberlake歌曲的视频，我还是等到很久之后才知道他们就是同一个人。
PC: What was a 15-year-old Justin Bieber like on set? And what was it like working with him?
人民选择奖：15岁时的Justin Bieber是怎么样的？和他在一起工作是什么感觉？
KM: Fifteen-year-old Justin was hilarious. We really hit it off and had a great time filming the video. We hung out a few times after the shoot and you can just tell that he wants to have fun just like any other guy. When we went to Disneyland, he would run up to random people with a churro and pretend like it was a microphone and act as if he was interviewing them. He makes friends wherever he goes and is truly a nice guy.
KW：15岁的Justin就像个熊孩子，真的很爱玩。我们很合得来，拍摄的时候真的玩的很高兴。在拍摄之后我们一起出去过几次，你可以看得出他就跟普通男孩一样那么爱玩。在迪士尼乐园的时候他拿着吉事果（西班牙的油炸食品）当作麦克风，胡乱跑进人群中假装在采访他们。他去到每个地方都会交朋友，真的是个很好的男孩。
PC: After the video came out, did anyone ever recognize you on the street? How did your friends/classmates react when it was released?
人民选择奖：MV释出以后，有人在街上认出过你吗？你的同学和朋友都有什么反应？
KM: When the video came out a lot of my friends were all shocked and excited! But no one really knew who he was yet. Once it got big I got recognized everywhere.
KM：MV发布以后我的好多朋友都震惊了，同时也很激动！不过那时候还没人知道JB是谁。他火了以后我几乎在哪都能被认出来。
PC: It’s been six years since you were “the girl in the Justin Bieber music video” that 12-year-old girls everywhere wanted to be. Have you and Justin stayed in touch?
人民选择奖：离你成为JB的MV女主已经有六年了，当时全地球的十二岁姑娘们都想变成你的角色呢。你现在有和JB保持联系吗？
KM: I haven’t really kept in touch over the past few years, occasionally I’ll talk to Pattie [his mom]. She came to my engagement party when my husband proposed.
KM：我最近几年倒没怎么和他联系过，不过我偶尔会和他妈妈Pattie聊聊天。我老公求婚以后她来我的订婚爬梯了。
PC: What have you been up to since the release of “One Time”?
人民选择奖：One Time发行以后你都在忙些什么？
KM: I have been married for a little over a year and am just living the simple/normal life. It’s wonderful, my husband is the sweetest most wonderful man I know and I am one lucky girl.
KM：我已经结婚一年多了，现在的生活很平常。这感觉很好，我老公是我所认识的最贴心最甜蜜最棒的人，我真是个幸运的姑娘。
