一、理论依据
新课程强调充分利用师生的生活经历和经验,精心搭好“导入之桥”激活学生的思维,激发学习的兴趣,使每个学生的身心得到健康发展。《标准》把培养学生的学习兴趣、态度和自信心等情感因素作为课程目标之一,充分体现了“以学生发展为根本”的教育思想。
二.教学背景分析
(一)教材分析
本课是冀教版八年级上册Unit3 Families Get
Together的第一课时,
本课由两篇E-mail组成:第一篇李明介绍中国在秋天的节日—中秋节及七天长假的国庆节,并对假期展开一系列活动;第二篇詹妮介绍加拿大在秋季的重要节日—感恩节及人们如何庆祝。
(二)学情分析
1.八年级学生已经具有一定的阅读理解能力,能在教师的引领下理解课本的语段并完成简单练习。他们能对自己感兴趣的话题作简单的表述,
2.学生在本课之前学习过一些有关节日的知识,如:Mid-Autumn
Festival、celebrate等等。但是对节日活动进行描述的句子学习不够系统。
三、教学过程

四、教学反思
这是一节上课后的教学反思。在设计本节阅读课时,遵循循序渐进的教学原则,由浅入深、由易至难。依据本节课的教学目标和教学内容创造地设计贴近学生生活的教学活动,例如:猜节日,猜单词等活动,把学单词的过程变成了有趣的活动,让学生学得投入而轻松。设计的活动形式多、范围广。有两人交际对话,有小组活动,还有读后改写,有针对性地训练了学生的语言运用能力。
教师应合理利用导入,导入是思维的起点,好的导入可以激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性,有引人入胜的妙用。如果导入成功,学生就会兴趣盎然,精神集中,思维活跃,理解和记忆的质量就会提高。导入的成效主要取决于教师对导入环节的精心设计。比如,利用视听活动。Look

学单词的过程是枯燥的,教单词应有创新。把学习过程通过一些活动,从认知到理解词义到实际应用,学习就成为一个轻松快乐的旅行,从而提高学生的学习热情,突出他们的主体地位。我们利用头脑风暴。教师提供一个话题,让学生围绕这个话题说一些相关的内容,这样可以开展词汇教学,并拓展学生的视野。比如,在学习“I
Love
Autumn”第二篇关于感恩节的篇目,在读前活动中,教师可以让学生以头脑风暴的形式谈谈自己学过的关于感恩节的词汇。这样不但可以激活学生关于感恩节的背景知识,也可以借此机会学习一些新的词汇,为下面的阅读环节做准备。
讲授本课采用了互动式教学模式,通过表层信息处理,分段理解大意和文本内涵的解读,为学生简述中国的传统节日——中秋节及风俗习惯,并介绍一些常见的食物和活动,比如:家人团聚、赏月、吃月饼。如果没有及时回家,建议给家人打电话,报平安。同时,也介绍加拿大和美国等国家的传统节日——感恩节,教师设计的活动贴近学生生活,通过活动使用英语,也培养学生的合作能力,加强他们的团队精神。
接下来探讨一下读后活动的设计,我们可以让学生把它写成作文。能不能让他们写下自己的爱好并指定几个学生当堂朗读出来,大家一起分享一下。在本课中运用的思维导图来帮助学生建构有关节日的基本知识,并借助思维导图有逻辑地表达语言知识,促进学生思维品质的形成。
