这四个单词的翻译是：芜荽,鼠尾草,迷迭香和百里香 。是西蒙在斯卡堡集市中唱到的四种花。

    对这四种花，我只认识鼠尾草，那还是去年从绢子所描述的普罗斯旺里看到的，绢子的博克名就叫鼠尾草，可惜她去世了。关于这种草，给我一种毛茸茸轻飘飘的宿命感。倒是其他三种草，名字起得别致，难得一见倒是真的。不知道哪里长这样的花？苏格兰？ 爱尔兰？那里的风车高高立在田野里，风笛极好听，也有过一阵子迷恋。

   秋天的干草温暖的气味夹杂着野花的芬芳，被萧索的秋风挟裹着，掠过大地和田野，掠过即将封冻的河流和永远叹息的大海，一个孤独的男人，独自唱着忧伤的歌，消失在天地之间。
