周彦生，1942年生于河南漯河，1956年在吴奉先老师启蒙下学画，1959年考入河南艺术学校美术系，受教于

谢瑞阶、王威、丁中一教授。1979年考入广州美术学院中国画系花鸟画科研究生班，在关山月、黎雄才、杨之光

和陈金章教授的指导下，专攻花鸟画。广州美术学院教授，硕士研究生导师，中国美协会员，岭南画派十大名家

之一。数十年来潜心研究传统工笔花鸟画，笔下的花鸟兼收传统笔墨，同时借鉴外来艺术，一直寻求探索清秀明

丽、富贵高雅而气势宏伟的花鸟画艺术风格，终自成体系，在花鸟领域影响巨大。
