继续上学期学习了几组英语中经常混淆的词语 （看底版），今天我们继续学习更多的词语包括：Desert v Dessert  (沙漠v甜品)；Its v It's（它的V这是）

 (1) Desert v Dessert  (沙漠v甜品)

Desert 的单字意思是‘沙漠’。当它被当成动词用法时，它的意思就变成‘离开 或逃离’。

沙漠Desert（名词）; desert (noun): /ˈdezət/

例句：The Sahara is the largest hot desert in the world. / 撒哈拉沙漠是世界最大的炎热沙漠。

离开 或逃离Desert (动词) ; to desert (verb): /dɪˈzɜːt/ -

例句： to leave someone behind/without help or to run away from the army / 把别人抛下 / 不提供帮助 / 逃离军队

而Dessert  是‘甜品’的意思，请记得它带有两个"S"。

甜品 Dessert  （名词）； /dɪˈzɜːt/

例句：  The sweet sugary food that you eat at the end of a meal / 一般在主食以后才吃的甜食品。

(2) Its v It's（它的V这是）

It's (with an apostrophe): the short way of writing it is  -
It's 是" It is"的缩写，意思是"这是/它是"。its是物主代词，意思是”它的“。

It's例句：  

It's so nice to meet you. 这真是太高兴见到你

You won't need your jacket it's really warm outside. 这外面很温暖，你不需要穿外套。

It's a cat. Its name is Elsa. 它是一只小猫。她的名字是Elsa。

its例句：  

My dog plays with its favourite toy every night. 我的狗每天晚上都会玩它的狗狗玩具。
