I just arrive in shanghai this afternoon, got home around 4pm. I saw the wood floor was mildewy from kind of flood, I wondered how it could be like this, maybe due to all windows were closed?  So I started to clean the floor and polished it, during the cleaning,I found the carpet was wet, I was confused, didnot know what happened. But I didnot spend too much time on thinking it, so after that I cleaned the kitchen, and tables, put some laundry into washmachine, then felt a little hungry, I noticed the time was 6:30pm, I found some bread and youghut, so ate them, then I went downstairs to check the bills, paid the phone bill but the electricity bill is expired( the last date to pay is 25th Dec), so tomorrow I have to go to their office to pay it off.

After coming back outside, I checked a mail from insurance company, and read a little bit about the leaflet of a supermarket, thought I need to buy something, at least some oil for the wood floor. So I memorized the address of the supermarket, which is not so far from my apartment, good news for me. then I started to clean up my bed, but I found out all my quilts and covers were wet and mildewy, why was it?  Did I sweat so much that night before I left for Europe? Impossible!!! I usually dont swear.  I remenbed that the landlord tried to tell me something on the phone a week ago when I called him and said I would pay the rent when I return. So I phoned him and he told me that my upstair's( 6th floor) bathroom was broken and all water leaking down, even to 4th floor, it was midnight about 2am, the 4th floor found it and thought it's from my apartment, but my landlord has no key, so he could not go into my room. I went upstairs, the first door was not closed, but no one was inside.  There was a neighbour, he told me the story, but he always said it's a kid, I was puzzled, how can a kid stays home without grown-up? Why the kid didnot call the parents?  He said, the kid is in 20s, he was afraid and just sit in bed and did nothing. Oh, my God, how can a 20s guy called as a kid, is he an idiot?

My sister called me and asked me to call my father as today it's his birthday, but I really had no mood to call him, I would do it tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a busy day for me. I went upstairs again and still no one answered the door, so I rung up the landlord, he said he would come tomorrow afternoon. I wondered how much they would compensate for me.

That leaking event happend about 3 weeks ago, and the community couldnot find the guy. who knows if I will get compensation.
