Plato once asked the master: what is love?
the master asked him to pick a crop in the
field,
it should be the best he thought,
but he could only pick once and could not
return.
plato went to the field but got nothing
back.
the master asked why,

plato said: i saw a good one on my way, but i
thought there could be better ones on my farther way and i could
not return, actually i didnt see better ones.
the master said: this is love.
once again plato asked the master: what is
marriage?
the master asked him to the forest to cut the
best tree he thought.
according to the last experience,
plato brought a tree back which doesnt seem
nice, but still ok.
the master asked him why.
plato said: i learnt it from the last time, i
dont wanna miss it, but maybe i cant find a better one on my way,
and i think this one is not so bad, so i bring it
back.
the master said: that is marriage.
At the other hand, "love" does not mean, getting maximum
pleasure from your partner. Antoine de Saint-Exypéry once said:
"Love does not mean staring at each other, but looking to a common
goal together."
So if your beloved one is good enough to accomplish a task together with him (like rasing kids, or anything else), it might be ok and enough for a happy life...
