My child, if you accept my words, and treasure up my commandments within you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding, if you indeed cry out for insight,
and raise your voice for understanding, you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path, for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul, prudence will watch over you, and understanding will guard you, it will save your from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely.

     My child, do not forget my teaching,but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life,a nd abundant welfare they will give you. Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute, in the sight of God and of people.

     A capable wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels, the heart of her husband trusts in her,and he will have no lack of gain, she does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.

    How beautiful you are, my love, how very beautiful! Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats,moving down the slopes of Gilead. Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes that have come up from the washing, all of which bear twins, and not one among them is bereaved. Your lips are like a crimson thread,and your mouth is lovely. Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranate behind your veil. Your neck is like the tower of David, built in courses; on it hand a thousand bucklers,all of them shields of warriors. Your two breasts are like two fawns,twins of a gazelle, that feed among the lilies.
