本课时为PEP4 Unit3 Let’s spell内容（P26）分为Read, listen and chant; Read, listen and number; Look, listen and write三个板块。第一部分呈现了字母ar和al在单词中的发音规则，第二部分通过读单词，听音排序的活动强化记忆ar和al的发音规则，帮助学生根据发音规则读出新词，巩固学习ar和al的音-形对应关系；第三部分则通过听音写单词活动帮助学生按照发音规则拼写单词。
