听力看题时如何选择关键词

雅思听力考试的特点就是拿着题目听题，这是区别于托福考试的很大一个特点，也是相当大的一个优势，因此，如何看题值得我们深入研究。在看题的过程中，有些词需要引起我们特别的关注，如下：

1. 考虑专有名词（包括时间、地点等），因为专有名词在原文里面替换几率最小，这样就可以成为帮助我们定位找答案的最方便的最有效的词汇了。

例如：剑五Test 2 Section 4中的第37题：

Average daily requirement for an adult in Antarctica is approximately ……….kilocalories.

录音原文：maybe you know that an adult in the UK will properly need about 1700 kilocalories a day on average; someone in Antarctica will need about 3500 – just over the double!

录音中的antarctica为我们寻找这道题目的答案起到了很好的线索作用。

2. 主谓(subject and Verb)：主语和谓语动词可以作为关键词来划写。从语法中得知，最基本的5种句型结构（SV, SVO, SVOO, SVP, SVOC）都含有主谓(SV)在里面，可见主谓信息在句子信息表达中起到最根本的作用，当然就承载了最重要的信息。但是，特别需要强调一点的是，不管是用来做主语的名词也好，还是做谓语的动词也罢，都有极大的同义替换的可能性，所以要做好被替换的心理准备。

例如：剑八TEST 1 SECTION 4中第39题：

b). aerial photos

   ---- can show vegetation problems, 39 __________ density, ocean floor etc.

录音原文：We can also use aerial photographs… pictures taken by cameras at high altitude above the earth. These are great for showing all kinds of geographical features that are not easy to see from the ground. You can easily illustrate areas of diseased trees or how much traffic is on the roads at a given time or information about deep sea beds, for example.

主语aerial photos，其中photos在录音中改成了同义词photographs；谓语动词是show，在录音中由于句子结构的改变，改为了showing，辨别上没什么难度，所以这些词都可以引导我们去寻找答案。

3. 限定词：其实从词性角度来看：

a) 可以体现为形容词，例如:

 剑五TEST 4 SECTION 1中第3题：intended length of stay: 3 _______

 录音原文：I am planning on staying a year but at the moment I am definitely here for four months only.

此句有两数字信息：a year和4 months, 但是选择哪一个由题干中的intended来决定， intended与录音中的plan是一个概念，所以选择前一个。

b) 也可以体现为副词，如程度副词，例如：The largest number of Tasmania devils live in _____.

     A   the coast areas

     B   in the rainforests

     C   in drier forests

录音原文：They only live on the island of Tasmania. You can find them all over the island, including in the southeast rainforests, and in coastal heath areas, but they are most commonly found on the island where there is less rainfall in the eastern and northern part of the island.

从录音原文中，可以看出给出的三个选项在原文中都有所体现，如果这个时候不关注largest这个词所暗含的限定作用，很容易被选项所迷惑，相反，注意到这个词，再加以对其同义替换词“most commonly”的结合理解，就不难选出C这个选项。
