学而不思则罔,思而不学则殆

大教育家孔子在二千多年前就已精确地阐释了的关系,我们从初中,甚至于小学就背会了这句治学名言,然而是否真的领悟了它的真谛呢?是否一直躬行不辍呢?

第一课的教学已经结束,大部分做过presentation的同学都在我的要求下写了教学反思,部分同学还用英语来写,既作了总结,又锻炼了英文写作,真是一举多得。大部分同学的反思写的比较深刻,我看后也很受触动。反观自己执教日久,略显懈怠,反思不如往常积极了,长此以往,教学最容易坠入一种刻板的套路,难有创新和提高。今年总算鼓足勇气迈出这教改第一步,我想如果现在不做,再过五年、十年恐怕连想的勇气都没有了。今天写这段话与大家共勉,希望我们每个人都能养成反思的习惯,这样才能使我们以后在任何一个工作岗位上都能永远锐意革新,不落俗套。

I got an email from our Advanced English teacher Mr.Chen on Tuesday, it showing the assignment of our group for the simulated teaching on Friday. As the leader of the group, I arranged the way of deciding who were gonna do the presentation and what each group member should do. 

   On Wednesday, each group member was preparing his/her own presentation: gathering material, designing the procedure in class, practicing and etc.

 On Thursday, our group met and we drew lots and I was one of the ‘lucky’.(the other one is Miss.Hong). So all the material collected by our group were gave out to me and Miss Hong. It’s time for us to do the real work.

  It’s not my first time to perform a student teaching in English, but things didn’t get easier just because of that. I worked on my assignment for over 3 hours that day for a 15-minute-long teaching course.

 The challenge finally came on Friday morning. Miss Hong finished her job first, followed by me. On the whole, there were something satisfying and something worth improving.

 

Critical Analysis

 

   For all the experiences and teaching rules that Mr.Chen have shared with our class, I will critically analyze my own teaching experience in the following aspects:

    1. Prepration:

My task is to explain the wind speed and wind scale. I searched and downloaded some related information from the internet and printed them. Before this I had looked through Lesson One and circled out all information that I might use to perfect my teaching. According to the feedback of Mr.Chen and my classmates, I believe I had basically accomplished my assignment based on my preparation.       

     2. Apperance&Courtesy:

 Mr.Chen had pointed out, in particular, appearance and courtesy needed of a teacher during teaching and some girls had been criticized for their inappropriate behavior. My belief is to keep myself looking tidy, friendly and serious at the same time. However, the natural nervousness of being watched by a group of people betrayed me. My hands uncontrollably shook and my words blurred. I will grab more chances to perform teaching in front of people and overcome my timidity.

3. Blackboard-Writing:

    Writing is not my strong point. So I didn’t expect a lot on this and just tried to make my blackboard-writing look clear and mananged. I definitely need more practice on chalk writing.

  4. Teaching Methods:

  As for the most important part, teaching methods, I turned to work on students’ interest. Relevant but boring material was ignored as well as those might be too interesting to keep students focused. I also adopted drawing pictures to illustrate my content better. I may conveyed a little too much extra-information on the wind scale. Since I was responsible for the cultural background part, some of the tips of explaining words or grammar which were taught by Mr.Chen were not necessarily executed. Definitely needed in the future, though.

 5. Teacher-Students Interaction:

   I had not interacted with students during my teaching period but I had witnessed some really awkward moments when other student-teachers were performing their tasks. Mr.Chen’s suggestions on this strongly caught my attention. He advised that timely affirmation should be given to students when they had answered a question even if they had not answered it perfectly, and what a teacher should do is to lead him/her to the correct answer by giving a direction and some clues. I believe this kind of information, taking its origin from experience, was exactly what we lacked of.

Conclusion

 

As far as I am concerned, this kind of teaching experience is always good for a future teacher. It makes me realize what it truly means to be an effective teacher. Ultimately, the goal of a teacher is to help students learn, and I think this experience has strengthened my arsenal of teaching skills. Most of all, it helps me  see it clearer that whether being a teacher in the future is my destination or not.

In the text Face to Face with Hurricane Camille, there are some verbs describing the power of Hurricane Camille vividly. My teaching task is to find these verbs and give a short presentation. From my point of view, it’s difficult to find such verbs, but I have to say that it’s difficult to explain them.

  I’m nervous, indeed. To overcome my nervous, I try to stand in front of people and make a speech. However, when I stand on the platform, I can’t help feeling nervous and uneasy. I couldn’t think actively or smile naturally. What’s worse, my speaking speed quickens the bad feeling. I often speak fast. Obviously, at this moment, the pace of speaking betrayed me. Maybe many people feel nervous when they stand in front of people. That’s common. I need to know that there’s nothing to be afraid of.

  In all fairness, I didn’t make a full preparation before the class. Opportunities favor the prepared mind. I didn’t consider what I should say during the teaching in detailed. Teaching is holly. And I should take it seriously. By this teaching activity, I realized that it’s not easy to teach. When you are teaching on the platform, you have responsibility to give a wonderful lesson. Students are listening to you, seeking knowledge. They spend their time listening to your speech. You attract their attention. Then in order to give a good teaching, you need to prepare carefully. I once joked to my roommates “Please don’t listen to me.” If you don’t listen to me, I’ll have no such responsibility, as well as the equal pressure. Of course, that’s just joking.

Such serious attitude is what I need to learn. I guess that if I learn the serious attitude, I won’t feel that nervous, because in the valuable class time, I have more important to do.

Self-examination about My Teaching

Under Mr. Chen’s guidance, I have had a teaching experience on the Advanced English class. My teaching task is to explain three language points.(“face to face”, “reason out” and “a good”)  Now I’d like to do a self-examination about my teaching, so that I can improve myself. What’s more, I hope that classmates could learn something from it, which may be useful for their future teaching. There are both merits and shortcomings about my teaching.

 

Fist of all , I want to mention some shortcomings about my teaching.

 

A  The main shortcoming of mine is making no distinction between the major and the minor one. I didn’t clarify the main language points in details. It’s a pity. What’s worse, I didn’t write down the English explanation of some language points, or even the Chinese meaning of them.

B  The second shortcoming I want to mention is my chalk writing which is not pretty enough. I will practice it this term. And the distribution of my black-board writing hadn’t been designed.

C  The last is about my teaching methods. I should use more methods to explain myself, such as using pictures, gestures.

 

Though there are so may shortcomings, I believe there are also some merits. I want to share them with you!

 

A  I was fully prepared for the teaching tasks. Before the class, I have written down all the contents which I would teach during my class. And I have thought many ways to explain my language points, so that I can be understood more easily.

B  As for the teaching methods, I have adopted the situation paraphrase. However, I didn’t write it down. And the examples I give have a close relationship with our daily life.

C  As for the teaching attitude and state, I was quite relaxed and optimistic. I think it’s very crucial, however, easily ignored.

 

   That’s all about my self-examination. Finishing writing it, I have a new understanding towards my teaching. How about you? I wish it is useful for you!

My dear teacher - Arthur Chen, I am a student from Class 5, Zhu Pingping. Here is my report after my own ''class''.

   Learning without thinking leads to confusion; thinking without learning ends in danger. So does the teaching. New term, new start. Our advanced English teacher-Arthur Chen also has a new plan so as to make all of our classmates take an active part in his class, being a real teacher in front of the class. We are divided into several groups in different classes.

    Fortunately, I am in Group 6, Class 5.We are a team including 8 girls. And I am so luckily that I am one of the two group leaders. Our teaching task was some language points. Frankly speaking, language points explanation came to be boring easily. But we still tried our best to do it. This time we decided to make three volunteers to give presentation, me included. I looked up the dictionary, surfed the internet, and so on. I prepared for it carefully.

    Then the big day came on Monday. You know what? The moment I standed in front of the blackboard, I fell into

nervous. I even forgot how to speak English, not mention to my task. God bless me! I have never felt so ashamed. At that moment, I just wanted to run away. But I knew I

cannot. There are no places for slackers. Clam down, I told myself...Finally, I finished it. A very bad presentation! I turned to understand how difficult to be a teacher. There is a long way to go for me.


    Firstly, the knowledge. When I prepared for my task, I began to know my knowledge is so poor. The world is so big that there are a lot of things waiting for me to learn, especially for a teacher. I have to spend more time in reading and learning.

    Secondly, the courage. I really need more courage, maybe more confidence. Why did I feel so nervous? I asked myself. The answer was that I was not enough confident. And why? I thought it carefully. I need more chances to give presentations. Exercise makes perfect.


What's more, the attitude. Attitude is the altitude. The more you give, the more you will get. I think all of us should pay  more attention to the chance of being a teacher. We can learn a lot from our classmates, and ourselves.


In a word, thanks for Arthur Chen for giving me the chance to be a teacher. I wish I could do better next time.

 

闫春梅

今天我们结束了《高级英语》第一课的学习,这种新的教学模式让我们每一个人都参与其中,收获了很多。而作为五班英语小组组长的我,通过上一堂课的教学实践,更是受益匪浅!在此,特向陈sir汇报我对自己上一次教学实践表现的反思和总结。

首先,我认为自己表现值得肯定的地方为以下几个方面:

1 课前做了充分的准备。自己学会了利用一些图片展示和其他一些教学工具,使自己所授内容更加易于学生理解的方法。

2)在教学过程中,自己不会紧张害怕,感觉很轻松。开始注意设计自己的板书了。

3)口语,语言组织能力不太好,但是比上学期来讲,自我感觉进步了

当然,自己还是一个green hand,在实践中暴露的问题真的很多,主要为以下几个方面:

1 在教学过程中,语言组织表达能力较弱,语音语调有待加强。

2 在与学生课堂互动的过程中,不能灵活应对,没有达到通过提问使学生参与课堂学习的目的,也没有对学生做出符合其表现的反馈和评价。           

3 板面设计欠佳,板书很丑,需要提高。                                                       

总之,虽然自己还有很多不足之处,但在新学期,我会珍惜每一次进行教学实践的机会。课后,我会努力训练自己的语言表达与组织能力   。提高板书与板面设计的水平,主动学习掌握多种教学方法,并加以运用。主动向其他表现优秀的同学取经借鉴。感谢陈sir针对我的表现提出的建议和指导。希望在以后的教学实践中,您给予更多的批评和建议,让我发现自己的问题,从而解决问题,为成为一名合格的教学者而努力!

关于此次教学实践,总的来说,我觉得失败!辩证唯物主义认为事物是由内外因共同作用而成的,外因是事物变化变化发展的条件,内因才是关键!所以,主要原因还是在自己!至于好的一面,到没觉得有值得 肯定之处 ,觉得都要该进!不足之处,如下:

  1扼住命运的喉咙”’,天生嗓门低,声音传不出去,自己痛苦,大家也跟着受罪 。。下次得河东狮吼!

 2)发音不清,语速过快,好像只是一人在那里high!!

  3)口齿伶俐,口语不过关,该是最大问题了!

  4)粉笔字难登大雅之堂!惭愧!

  5)只是与一部分人交流目光,不能顾及全体,尤其是没能与兄弟班6班多交流;没能深入到群体中间。。。

  6)表情过于严肃,不像老师 ,倒像教官,。课堂气氛活跃不起来!缺乏幽默!

  7)最严重的一点,知识储备不充分,无法现炒现卖!

  哎,路漫漫其修远兮,吴将上下而求索! 

   外因上来讲, 好像大家预习不够,对其他组讲的只是被动吸收,我中途讲错了一处,没人发现, 再比如我将3个词组的区别, be strewn with ,be filled with , be stuffed with, 时间限制我也只是挑了一部分区别讲,大家都懂了吗,没有人反问!每个人应该有自己的准备,比如 pitch in 这个词组,我们组内查的意思就大不一样,后来挑了几个,也不知哪个好,哪个不好,后来大家就抄下去了!

 建议:1) 目前我们上课内容上不能做到像老师那样充实,毕竟我们储备还不够,所以那我们尽量注重形式!

   之前也说过,资料谁都会查,课堂上不要延伸扩充过多,要扩充那是大家自己课后的事情,,关键是怎样把 课上需要重点讲的以活泼生动易记的形式展现出来!

  2)每组都做好充分预习全篇,切忌各人自扫门前雪,这样才能让课堂百花齐放,百家争鸣!

  辩证法认为;新事物发展道路总是由不完善到完善,道路是曲折的,前途是光明的!

  雄关漫道真如铁,而今迈步从头越!

陶敏

首先,很感谢老师提供给我们上讲台锻炼的机会。其实,我挺感激能有这次上台讲课的经历的。因为自己提前做了准备,以为自己应该没问题,讲过之后,才意识到自己错误百出。经过老师的专业点评后,我发现自己有很多的不足,要改进的还有很多……

第一,自己很紧张,准备的一些内容都忘了说,还不敢与大家互动,大部分时间都是自己说自己的,不能很好的引导学生融入语境!我觉的课前充分做好准备真的很重要,只有准备好了,才能很自信的,流畅的讲课!

再次,板书写的很差,粉笔字写的既慢又难看,以后真的要勤加练习!还有就是,板书的时候还有一处错误,这样的错误以后一定要避免!这样可是会很容易误导学生的,准确性一定要保证。

总之,这次经历真的让我终身难忘,老师的教学方法独具特色,使我在未来的教学中有了借鉴的榜样,我一定会积极参与老师的教学活动,积累经验,认真学习,争取在教学上有更大的进步!

老师,您好

首先,我要说,很高兴,自己能有机会在高级英语这门课的讲台上,体验了一回,当老师的感觉,当然,这次的过程还有许多该进和提高的地方。

第一点,    也是我最需要改的地方,那就是,我对要教的内容没有真正的牢记于心。没有像后开的许多同学那样,脱稿流利而自然的完成了整个过程。

第二点,    关于我的台风。说实话,站在讲台上的时候,虽然下面都是很熟悉的老师,同学,但是我还是比较紧张的。整个表现比较拘谨,不自然,也不够自信。

第三点,    在教学内容方面。我所给出的解释还有运用的例句,都不够生活化,过于拘泥于辞典上给出的范例。这样,一个是是我的教学过程不够生动,另一方面,也不是很利于大家记住那些知识点。

第四点,    我在整个过程中,缺少和大家的交流。大部分时间都是我一个人在说。整个课堂的氛围也不怎么活泼。

第五点,    是我的板书。这个方面,我有不少问题。第一个是,整个板书的排列不够规范,尤其是序号的标注有些混乱。第二,我在书写的时候出了几处错误。第三点,就是我的字体大小参差不齐,书写的字体也不好看,这一点,我目前正在联系中

 

总而言之,我的第一次高级英语的讲课,还有太多太多需要改进和提高的地方。谢谢老师给出了许多意见和鼓励,也谢谢同学们的配合。如果有下次的机会,希望自己可以做得更好。谢谢!

针对上次的简短授课,我觉得有很多需要改进的地方。

    首先,对于课堂的整体把握不足。虽然自己也确实准备了一下东西,但由于对于想要传达给同学们的内容表达不明确,感觉同学们还是摸不清头脑。

    而且,对于重要的内容突出不够。如在对飓风名字的命名上,虽然我也有提到,但是由于没有重点突出,同学们对此的吸收也并不好。所以,在下次上课之前要确定课堂的重点,并对重点不出突出强调,以让同学充分注意到这一点。

    还有,也是我觉得最重要的部分,由于上台锻炼的机会比较少,所以,在台上的时候难免紧张而不知所云。因此,我个人觉得,增加学生的参与是极其有必要的,而且还有加大学生参与的力度。只有自己参与,并且真正有自己的想法,才会真正有所提高。

    这是我的感受,谢谢老师。

Reflections and Conclusions on Teaching

Through the practice of being a teacher standing on the platform, I found that to be a teacher is not an easy job after graduation. Meanwhile, I realized there are many problems existed of me, and I have to make more progress in the way to become a qualified teacher. Here is some personal enlightenment:

Enough preparation before the class is quite important.

As a teacher, we should take every student possible questions into consideration. In order to discover the underlying doubts, we must spent a lot of time in analyzing the text .so that we can give our children a satisfying answers, instead of a vague one. Besides, considerable preparations can make a teacher more confident.

Well organizing your lessons into a logical and relevant system, not a disordered one.

Researchers have found that students are more efficient in absorbing the systematic knowledge and the memory of knowledge is stronger.

Have a good design of your handwriting on the blackboard.

Avoiding the false spelling and keep all the handwritings clear and visible to the furthest students in the classroom and make them more beautiful and appreciating.

Make sure your voice clear and high enough so that all the students can hear you. Maybe sometimes due to the high tension of standing in front of large amount of students, your voice may be distorted. So we should also learn how to control

our feelings well .

Think about the questions in the perspective of students.

Sometimes you may consider this sentence is easy to understand. While to students,

They may not. Although some high-level students can understand does not mean that all of them do. So as a teacher, it is wise to pick up the hints send by the children, making sure whether you have to make further explanation or not.

Keep eye contact with your students from time to time.

江艾迪

我觉得英语没有办法确切的表达我的感受,所以决定用中文写这篇反思。

 

首先,很抱歉,这学期第一次的任务没有很好的完成,没有给大家做一个示范。我觉得很愧疚,只是五分钟的任务,没有完成。

我没有确切的理解“课文导入”的意义,只是向大家介绍了背景知识,简单的以为“导入”就是介绍一下与课文内容有关的背景,所以我就介绍了课文的主要内容和卡米尔飓风的一些资料。以后我一定会总结经验,正确理解任务的意义。

 

其次,作为一个老师,应该对课文内容熟悉,达到脱稿的水平。但是我只是读完了简介,没有达到老师的标准。我觉得这是一个态度的问题,没有充分的准备因为我没有认真对待老师的任务,没有正确的态度。所以,这次我得到的最大的收获就是正确的态度是决定一切的关键。

 

第三,我缺少与同学的互动,课堂应该充满欢笑,注意同学的反应。这一点应该向陈老师学习,让大家在愉快与欢乐中学习知识。

 

最后,我应该在适当的时候书写板书,帮助大家理解,而不只是一味的读。板书也是讲课的一部分,而且是很重要的一部分。

 

结合这次的经验,和老师的指导,以及我之后同学讲课的优点和不足,我想我可以做的更好。如果有下次机会我一定总结经验,合格完成老师的任务。

陈老师,您好!看了您的信后,我对以后的工作和任务有了更加清楚的认识,我一定会尽职尽责,配合您完成每一课的目标任务.我非常喜欢上您的课,希望在我们的共同努力下,以后的每一堂课都可以上得精彩!上一次我们组做的是导入部分,由我作代表进行了发言.在内容方面,因为是第一次做导入,我对该部分的内容和作用理解不充分,所以准备的导入部分过于简单而且不够完整,在以后的实践中我会努力改进,使导入不仅构思新颖,而且内容完整.在台风方面,我觉得自己仍然有些紧张,导致预先想好的词不能全部说出来.因为我本身比较内向,所以容易怯场,但我又非常喜欢老师这个职业,所以我会因此而努力克服这项弱势,我也相信自己可以做到!

我所在的小组分到的任务是第一课的导入部分,我是小组的代表。下面是对我授课表现的回顾与反思,看看有什么可以发扬和改善的地方。

    开始授课,刚站在讲台我就在黑板上写出了课文的题目Face to Face with the Hurricane Camille但这样是不恰当的。过早的直接讲出话题,那我还导入什么呢?第一次授课,情绪比较复杂,紧张,兴奋。由于我的情绪化和缺乏经验,在我提问完一个学生过后不仅没对她回答的答案进行点评,更没有说让她sit down我没有想那么多,以为这样形式的授课不用那么严肃,一些good”“sit down能省就省了。然而,这不是游戏,是在严肃的锻炼授课技巧。我就是实习老师,台下都是我的学生。

    接着,我继续着导入讲说,由于缺乏多媒体硬件设施我开始展示事先准备好的图片,在用英语讲解图片的时候还出现一些口语错误。作为一个新手实习生我应该将我该讲的每句英语都提前写下来的。我将图片粘到黑板上,接着开始收尾,导入了课文话题。

    授课期间也还是有一些可以肯定的东西。首先,导入的内容比较新颖。内陆生活的我们对飓风不熟悉但对汶川地震熟悉,大家都经历过。它们的共同点都是灾难,勾起了学生对熟悉灾难的感情和回忆后便可以顺利切入到另一种灾难,我们的目标主题飓风。其次,对导入内容背的比较熟,和学生也有eye contact,也进行了互动提问,但如果能走下台深入群众讲效果应该会更好,死板的站在台上会很像个人的演讲报告。然后就是声音比较大,时间上也把握的比较恰当。

我现在能做的就是练好板书,学会控制情绪,让授课更自然。抓住每一次练习的机会,从每一组的授课中学习长处,争取在下一次的教学中做的更好。

Self-examination of Teachingstudying

       This new method of our text is good for fostering our abilities. Honestly, I am so nervous to stand at the front of the class. At first, I am anxious for fear that I will make a fool of myself. But it gives me a chance to show myself. After this, I make a conclusion of my expression.

       Firstly, to be frank, I didn’t make a full preparation. I just pass the knowledge to them rigidly. The class is lack of energy.

      Secondly, I was inflexible so that I had no smile in the whole teaching. I’m afraid of eye-to-eye contact. Standing there, I just want to leave, which is the first thing in my mind.

      Thirdly, I had been done some activities so that I could attract attention. Above of, make the students enjoy the class is one of the most important things.

       Lastly, I didn’t regard myself as a teacher. In front of the class, I treat myself as a student. I taught the text as introducing something.

       All in all, I will try my best to improve myself. I am also full of energy to stand platform to do my teaching task.

蒋文文

新学期实行的新教学方式让我们眼前一亮,我觉得这是我们在真正走上三尺讲台前的一次很好的锻炼机会。其实我可以说是幸运的,因为我是13,14这两个班中第一个站上讲台的。现在静下心来想想自己的表现,只觉得缺点大于优点。以下是我的心得:

不足:

1,正如陈SIR您所说的,我的台风有提高,因为第一个上台很紧张,所以我大部分时间都是用手撑着桌子,无法给人一种斗志昂扬的感觉。

2,在备课时,并未想到课堂上所发生过的一些突发状况,所以在遭遇突发情况时,显得手足无措,缺乏临场应变的能力。

3,我们这一组也没有很好地发挥Teamwork,所以很多时候配合显得不默契。

4,最大的缺点应该是没有能很好地控制住自己的情绪,所以笑场很多次,影响上课进度。

优点:

1       这次我们组分到的任务是lead_in,在我们组集体智慧的结晶下,我们的内容比较有意思,紧扣时代主题,给人以新鲜感。

2       笑场的好处在于调动了班级气氛,是班级的学习氛围处于一种放松愉快的状态。

王小欣

  优点:1.我认真准备了很长时间

          2.基本上脱稿了

          3.声音洪亮

          4.在讲内容之前,先解释了跟内容相关的一些东西

缺点:1.板书上单词有错误

      2.在解释课本时有几个单词的读音错误   

      3.没有和同学互动

需要改进之处:1.在书写上尽量仔细,希望单词拼写错误不再发生

              2.在平时的学习中注意发音

              3.在课堂上要调动气氛,和同学们互动

很感谢老师给我指出的这些缺点,我会继续努力的!

杨燕

1.课前一定要充分准备,不仅要备好课,更要预想课堂中会遇到的多种情况以及应对方法。

2.不能采用单一的授课模式,要结合课堂与学生,生动授课,多与学生活动,活跃课堂气氛。

3.课堂中遇到备课没有想到的问题或是情况,需冷静,从容对待。

    Sir好!我是英语14班的赵勤,我上次的任务是对我们第一单元《Hurricane Camille》做开头介绍。在授课过程中出现了不少问题,您和班里的同学都给我提出了很宝贵的意见。其中包括,授课不可以枯燥否则就会给学生营造一种很无聊的氛围,影响学生听课质量。我听后觉得很受用,因为我本身也是个学生,我非常能体会无聊的环境下是不能学好的。

     鉴于此,我会认真学习领悟如何才能营造轻松愉快学习氛围。当然我很清楚我要改进的还有很多,所以在以后的学习中授课中我会努力发现缺陷,改正它,不断的完善自己。

 

     此外,我想万事开头难,一开始肯定会不易的,以后的学习生活中还需要及时的反思才能最终成功的。

1.教学不够生动。和同学们互动太少。没有眼神的交流。对于同义词没有进行辨析。应该举例子对它们进行说明。2.对课程内容不熟。没有脱稿。3.有点紧张。表现不是很自然大方。4.板书比较乱。以后要将黑板分3块来书写板书。

我谨代表我们这组成员汇报教学反思。此次上台授课,我受益颇丰。老师的良苦用心,我们学生都可以感受到!我相信这学期的上台实践是给了我们锻炼的机会,帮助我们提早走上讲台,感受身为人师的责任与光荣!

      根据课堂学生的反应和互动,对于语言点的讲解,学生应该可以接受。课下我认真地翻阅了字典。但是没有按照老师的要求,完全脱稿,熟练程度不够。板书设计课前确实没有考虑到,因此这方面做的不好,老师也予以提出。老师要求用英语授课,这点授课过程中表现欠佳!课下我会注意提高自己的口语能力。

      作为女生,我觉得幽默感不如男生。在台上舒展不开,肢体语言不够丰富,这点我认为是女生最大的劣势!希望老师能够启发我们,如何让女教师更幽默,如何调动学生的学习兴趣和课堂气氛。

您好!非常感谢您对我们这学期课程的精心设计,方法性很强,而且很感兴趣!以下是我对这周教学的反思。

对于这次授课的内容,本人做了很认真地准备,查了资料和征求小组成员的建议。对于授课的方式也有所安排。但由于在授课过程中比较紧张和缺乏经验,存在很多漏洞:

首先,由于紧张和慌张,事后发现中间有些内容没有说到,这样就会造成解释的不彻底和信息传达不到位,对教学质量影响大;

再次,虽然脱稿和全英语,但总感觉语言表达上障碍大,发音不准和句子表达不准确,问题很严重;

最后,怎么让枯燥的知识点说的生动,在这一点上很是欠缺,虽然课前思考很久,但感觉在授课的过程中还是很别扭,有些枯燥,语言表达不生动。

以上是我对本周教学的反思,错漏曲解之处,还望不吝指教,谢谢。

      您好!

      我是英语十四班的张杰。很开心以这样一种文字的方式和您进行如同朋友般的交流。平时我们亲切地称您为陈sir,因为在我们眼里您是老师,但更是我们的朋友。所以在我看来,这不仅仅是一场师生之间的对话,更是一次朋友之间的交流。

      上个星期我们组做的演示是关于词组的解释。不可否认的是,在这一过程中暴露出许多问题:板书不够规范,课前准备不充分,不能实现脱稿教学,课堂气氛不够活跃,不能实现与学生的互动交流等等。请原谅这是我们第一次以模拟教师的身份站在讲台上授课,紧张胆怯不言而喻。其实我们深知,作为一名师范生,这些都是必备的技能。这学期以来,无论是从我们每天上课的课程,还是从身为一个大三学生的角度,都觉得应该真真切切的为自己的未来做打算了。那就是我决定去做一名教师,一名合格的英语教师。

      其实经过上次的模拟教学,我也深刻地认识到自己的不足。比如板书字迹潦草,发音不够准确,课堂气氛沉闷,不能进行脱稿教学等等。老师的教诲我铭记在心,并且我也会把握好今后的每一次机会,在每一次的实践和锻炼中提升自己。在这里我要感谢老师的点评。记得老师说我的声音是天生的优势,嘿嘿,其实朋友们都是这样说,这也好像更增添了我的信心。是的,我要做一名教师,一名合格的教师。其实很坦白的说,要做一名合格的老师不容易,必须要具有完备的知识技能,良好的教学方法以及要恰当地处理好与学生之间的关系等等。关于这些,我觉得老师为我们树立了良好的榜样,这值得我们学习。其实最近也在收集一些关于编制考试的信息,遇到了许多盲点。也希望老师能够给我更多的建议和帮助。谢谢老师!

      我们很清楚,陈sir您的工作很忙,可是您对我们的指导仍然细致入微。每次都看到您拿着一支笔和一个小本子坐在一旁,静静地听着我们很不顺畅的教学,您会记录下我们的点点滴滴,做出很契合实际的点评。这些我们都看在眼里,记在心上。我们都知道您的良苦用心,您是希望通过新的教程改革更好地提高我们的能力和水平。而我也将不断地改进我的不足,发音,板书,还有技巧技能方面;我将珍惜以后的每次机会,努力锻炼自己,提升自己。最后衷心地向您说一声:老师,谢谢您!

儿时的我也有过作老师的梦想,当作为英语师范生的我站在讲台上,才感受到其实作个称职的老师并不容易。

 

     我们小组这一次任务由四个人共同完成,每个人解说一个知识点。我讲解的是句子:By Tuesday, Charilies's back had improved, and he pitched in with Seabees in the worst volunteer work of all----searching for bodies.此句的重点是短语pitch in。首先,我翻译了这句话,指出我们要学习的重点。然后,用英语解释了短语pitch in,并列举了两个例句,其中一个为汉翻英,第二个为英翻汉。接着,举出了与其相像的短语pitch into,解释了意思之后举了一个例子,并强调出同学要注意两者之间的区别。最后,把pitch这个单词单独挑出来讲解,并适当的举例。

 

      在讲完课之后,老师指出了,同时我也认识到了自己的不足之处。

 

      一、授课内容的精准度不够。在讲解pitch inpitch into的区别时,内容不够精确;

 

      二、教学方式较为单一。基本都是采用先讲解后举例的方式,且都采用翻译句子的形式。而课堂教学形式多种多样,例如比较形象化的可以利用图片展示,采用做练习方式可使学生印象更为深刻等等;

 

      三、板书不够美观。我在板书的过程中因疏忽大意犯了单词拼写的低级错误,以后需要加强注意。老师的板书是非常重要的,所以板书不仅美观,还要整洁、大方。

 

      通过这次试讲教学我认识到了自己当老师还有很多不足。我们中的很多同学以后都可能成为中小学英语教师,作为义务教育的人民教师,需要将善导激趣引思精讲为基础守则,而我们可能只是浅层的做到了精讲部分。

    我是09级英语14班的吴曦,对于高级英语第一课中自主学习中我的表现和您的指导让我反省了一番。

分配给我的任务是language learning 中的最后一句 The dog and cat suddenly appeared at the scene , alive and hungry .  老师在alive and hungry 中划了线,意思就是让我解释这个词组在句子中的作用。因为对语法的不熟练,我的准备不是很充分,只是讲了这个词组是形容词做伴随状语,然后准备了alivehungry的几个词组。结果在我上台前老师把这句话讲了一下,还举例了前面课文的例子,我就不知道该讲什么了。

我上台的时候很紧张,在下面明明可以背下来的内容上去就忘记了还老是出错。写字的时候手都有点抖。终于我讲解完了。老师的评价是我的板书是见缝插针,乱七八糟。因为在我上去之前黑板上都是上个同学讲解的内容,我没有把黑板擦干净,也没有预想到自己的板书会写不下,所以最后的时候就写到原来那一行的下面了,显得十分拥挤和乱。老师说黑板是一个老师的脸。在讲课之前不管你有多少内容都必须把黑板擦干净,这点我就没有想到,以为只要吧自己详细的内容写下就行了.

对于这次的教课我的感触颇深:当老师不是件容易的事情,尤其是当一名让同学爱戴喜欢的好老师,课前的准备要充足,课堂中的教学方式要多样。课下的备课总结要完善。因为自己的不认真和没有经验导致自己的第一次讲课以惨败而结束。 再后来别的同学的讲解中我学到了很多,看到他们认真地准备还有讲解的生动让我心里很惭愧。今天学习委员又发下来了第5课的自主学习资料,这一次我一定会好好准备,为以后做个好老师打好基础。

       首先谢谢老师给我们提供这样的锻炼机会,让我们在学习中不断地反思和提升自己。。。上次我们组的教学任务是短语的解析和阐述,通过上台演讲我认识到了自己的很多不足,对自己有了更多的了解和认识。 

       自己存在的缺点:1,上台后由于紧张,表情很不自然,直接导致台风的不足,我想自己今后要多加锻炼;2,课前准备的不充分,不能完全脱稿,熟练程度很不够,以后要更加认真地备课,更加端正自己的态度;3,语言点讲解重点不突出,有点累赘,相关语言点的拓展不够,联系不紧密,以后应该更加突出重点,全面拓展,更加简明扼要;4,板书设计不好,安排紊乱,字写得也不够优美,以后要注意板书的合理安排,多锻炼写好黑板字;5,讲解缺乏技巧,总是用翻译法,太古板,不生动,以后要综合运用多种技巧,提高技能,还要注重课堂上与学生的交流互动,以提高生动性。

       至于优点吧,嘿嘿,,,也还是有的,讲话声音还可以,很清楚;讲解也比较有条理,脉络清晰。

       我希望在以后的日子里老师您能够给予更多的指导,我会虚心学习,努力从锻炼中改善和提高自我,谢谢陈老师了,嘿嘿~~~
