Squirrels are very common in Britain, but it's no easy job to take pics of them because they are very nimble and quick to climb trees or run on the ground or grass.  Besides, they are always on the alert against people. So when they see you approaching they will run away or climb very quickly up the tree. The following pics took me quite a long time and great efforts, and they were taken in different places, such as in Scotland, Greenwich (London) and Swindon.

The next four pics are of a red squirrel. The red squirrel is native to Britain, but its future is increasingly uncertain as the introduced American grey squirrel expands its range across the mainland. They are rare to see in Britain, but you can probably see the red squirrels somewhere in Scotland. The pics of red squirrels were taken in Duckally,Scotland where we rent a big house and spent our holiday there for a week. These pics are very valuable to me.
