2012年3月29日至4月4日（7天），上海玉佛禅寺隆重举行2012年清明众姓水陆法会。千余名信众随喜参加了此次法会。玉佛禅寺每年固定举行两次众姓水陆法会。一次安排在清明，一次安排在冬至。(具体随喜参加方式，请到本寺客堂咨询)
   佛教通常将围绕某一目的举行的宗教活动，称为“法会”。为了超度水、陆、空三界亡灵而举行的法会，称作“水陆空法会”。因在三界之中，以水陆二界众生最为痛苦，所以往往有简称为“水陆法会”。水陆法会的全称叫“法界圣凡水陆普度大斋胜会”。也有称为：水陆道场、水陆斋、水陆斋仪、悲济会等名称，这也是汉传寺院所举行的最隆重，规模最大的法务活动。
