该图中的“珠”（即代表太阳）上面的纹丝也是螺旋线纹，与佛陀头饰和苏美尔人帽冠上的纹饰一样。



这个二龙戏珠的原型就是古埃及-夏朝标志（或国徽）的一部分,这个造型的原本含义是两条蛇“侧卫太阳神”而不是“戏珠”：
