三林镇还是传统的狮龙舞基地。此外还有传统的砖雕手艺。这次修缮的一些精美的砖雕作品，是镇上的老艺人的传世作品了。河南岸那个硕大的热水瓶竹壳模型究竟是什么寓意，镇上晒太阳的老人没有一个说得清。他们说，三林塘从来不生产热水瓶竹壳，也不生产内胆。
