课前放歌《Happy New Year!》
【设计意图:看着黑板上过年的彩色灯笼和彩带,听着耳熟能详的过年歌曲,提前渲染好过年的气氛,让学生在朗朗上口的美妙旋律中,带着愉快的心情开始学习。】
Step1.Warming up
1. Learning aims.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello, Miss Gu.
T: At first, let’s see our learning aims! After this lesson, we can do these things.
1. We can say “Happy New Year!” 2. We are happy to give presents by saying “This is for you.” 3. We know how to celebrate a holiday.
After learning, we can do the paper“ Ticking time”. If you can do
it well, you can get 3 stars.
Now are you ready for the class?
【设计意图:一开始就告知学生我们今天要完成的学习任务,让学生带着目标和重点来有效学习。然后通过以下三个活动:我会说新年快乐;我会通过用This is for you来赠送礼物;我知道如何庆祝节日来分版块实现教授本课重点单词和句型,这也是我们新课程改革后为了响应三年级译林版新教材的Ticking time板块而作出的一大改变和提升。】

【设计意图:通过常规性的Free talk,复习本课教授过程中需要用到的颜色,实物和句型,温故知新,同时也用来引出下一阶段的新授内容,自然的衔接让学生在不知不觉中就开始学习新知。】
Step2. Presentation and practice.

T: Today I’ve got another red thing. What’s this? (实物card)
S:It’s a card.

T: Yes, it’s a red packet. Look, here is a card. Here is a red packet. Guess, what holiday is coming? (听一小段音乐)
S: (引导)Oh, it’s New Year!
T: Yes, New Year is coming. Now let’s see! (放相关图片和背景歌曲渲染新年气氛) At New Year, we can say… “ Happy New Year!”跟读,(出示板书读) Happy New Year! Boys and girls! S: Happy New Year! Miss Gu. (贴板书)
T: Look, it’s our first learning aim: We can say “Happy New Year!”(PPT强调) Can you say “Happy New Year!”
Now let’s play a game: Freezing Game! You should say: Happy New Year!(对个人说)

Tips: 用英语向他人表达节日问候,可以让我们感受到学习英语的乐趣和成就。

T:OK. Today we’ll learn: Unit 8 Happy New Year!(齐读-贴板书揭示课题)
【设计意图:通过学生在1A中学过的旧知贺卡,红包和音乐引入话题,再通过Freezing游戏让每个学生都动起来,主动且乐于去对其他伙伴们说祝福的话,然后快速回到座位坐好。用此游戏来实现第1项学习任务的完成,并让大家诚实地打分检测,同学们都很乐意来完成整个活动。】
2. 实物教授CD
T:At New Year, we can say“Happy New Year!”.What else can we do? We can get presents. Do you know presents? It means gifts.
T:(教授presents)Read after me!升降调跟读present-presents. Look, this is a New Year present. What’s this? (举出实物CD,点个人回答)

【设计意图:通过过新年除了说新年祝福,自然过渡到还能获得礼物。教师创设情境让第1个单词CD作为新年礼物送出,大部分学生在生活中都已经有所接触,因此能够配合教师的设计完成对话,情境创设比较自然。】

T: Today I’ve got some New Year presents.(出示三盒子) Look at my red box. Do you like it?

【设计意图:教师继续通过过新年送礼物的环节来创设真实情境,给予学生真实体验。通过运用丰富的表情以及体态语,注意考虑到学生语言习得的规律,层层递进的来教授重点单词句型和适当拓展新句型,让学生的学习始终做到词不离句,句不离词。同时关注学生获得礼物后的情感因素,适时提问跟学生互动,让其感受到过新年时英语学习的乐趣。】
6.猜图片What’s that?复习CD/doll/car/ball,给线索教授新单词robot.

个别学生2-3个自读(奖励图片: This is for you. This…is for you. It’s for you.),跟录音读,打招呼读(录:Hello, nice to meet you!), 出示板书跟教师读,两人开车读(图片奖励)-集体拼读(贴板书)
【设计意图:通过用“望远镜”的游戏方式,让学生复习巩固之前学的单词,同时承上启下用猜谜方式引出新知robot,这是本课的一个重点难点单。我运用元音迁移方式让学生自己读出单词,再进行各种方式巩固训读,并用所学句型给与适当奖励。】
7. Pass and chant.

【设计意图:“传物游戏”主要是让学生基于之前所学的单词句型进行一次综合性的巩固复习的活动,同时渗透It’s for you.这个课文中的新句型,学生容易意会。】
8. Giving the presents. 互赠礼物环节(完成Ticking time第二项)
T: (教师示范)Happy New Year, XXX! This is for you.(送两人)
We are happy to get presents. I still have some presents here. Who can help me to give the presents? How can you say?(做动作): Happy New Year,XXX! This is for you…(出示PPT)(请个人送)
T: Here are some tips for you.
Tips: 互赠礼物是一种礼仪。让我们一起分享这份快乐吧!
It’s polite to give gifts to each other. Let’s share the happiness!
T: Look, it’s our second learning aim: We are happy to give presents by saying “This is for you.”(PPT强调) Can you give presents?
S: Yes.
T: Now it’s your turn to give presents to your friends or the teachers here. You can say: Happy New Year! This is for you. Take out your presents, go, go, go! (放赠礼物音乐,教师走入学生群中)

T: You are good boys and girls. Now it’s ticking time. 2.I am happy to give presents by saying “This is for you.”. If you can do it well, you can tick 3 stars! (完成Ticking time第二项,教师及时走入学生中关注打分情况,T:Good! You’ve got 3 stars!) Put your paper in your book.
【设计意图:通过下座位互赠礼物环节给与学生对所学单词句型输出的平台,让学生自由发挥赠送给想要赠送的人,学生比较感兴趣。也作为教师及时检测的一个契机,达成第2个学习目标。】
9.教授课文
T:Now we are happy. We can give and get
gifts at New Year. How about the children?
S: Yes.
T: Why? Oh, here comes Uncle John. Uncle John brings some presents for them. Let’s say “hello” to him.
Ss: Hello, Uncle John!
T: What are the presents? Take our your exercise paper. Please listen and tick!

教学反思:
围绕这些教学目标,同时为了积极响应新教材Ticking time板块,培养学生自我评价和自我检测的能力,我将这个课设计成出示学习目标,完成活动,及时自我评价和检测的任务型教学模式。在一开始就告知学生今天要完成的学习任务,然后通过以下三个活动:我会说新年快乐;我会通过用This is for you来赠送礼物;我知道如何庆祝节日来分版块实现教授本课重点单词和句型,提倡创设新年快乐的这个大情景,通过学生互赠新年祝福,教师赠送礼物,学生互赠礼物等活动来实现。
通过学生一年级学过的贺卡,红包和音乐引入话题,再通过Freezing游戏检测第1项学习任务。然后出示各种新年礼物在情境中教授单词。对于重难点单词robot,注意侧重于学生自己的读音归类和发现。通过用学生感兴趣的pass and chant环节巩固新知,同时引入赠送礼物的第2项学习任务。进入课文后,又通过目标不同的三个小任务,让学生理解课文并尝试配音。最后拓展其他节日,让学生选择表演达成第3项学习任务,鼓励学生在情境中运用所学词汇和句型进行交流。同时,我还积极渗透一定的节日礼仪和文化,让学生在学习欣赏的时候,鼓励学生做个有礼貌的人。
本课设计符合新课程理念中的从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,强调学生与生活的联系,注重学生思维、情感、行动的整合,把课堂内容与学生的日常生活联系在一起,使课堂充满情趣。而如何能做到基于课本且恰当拓展升华,注意中西方文化的糅合而做到板书再利用,从而提高学生乐于说英语能力,促进思维发散能力以及创新能力的培养,这也是我们教师需要深思的地方。
