[Topic] Good morning, everyone! The happiest thing that happened to me this year is that I got a scholarship.

[Supporting ideas] I was even not a good student last year and indulged myself in playing computer games. But I made up my mind to catch up with my classmates because of the encouragement from my family and my teachers. After several months of hard work, finally I made it. The efforts paid off.

[Conclusion]The small success I had this year helps me realize the importance of self-discipline and encourages me to make full use of the time that I have each day. Just as the old saying goes, you reap what you sow. That’s all. Thank you and good luck in your exam.
