查桥镇相传明代有查姓官员葬于河西，其子孙为扫墓之便而集资建桥，称查家桥。后来桥东形成市镇，沿用桥名。解放初称查桥乡，1958年成立公社，1983年复设乡，1987年更置镇。如今的查桥只有查家桥下一丁点老房子，依稀旧貌。其余当然无存。
