是仪不治产业,不受施惠,为屋舍财足自容。邻家有起大宅者,权出望见,问起大室者谁,左右对曰:“似是仪家也。”权曰:“仪俭,必非也。”问果他家。
    
是仪时时有所进达,未尝言人之短。事国数十年,未尝有过。
【注释】 ⑴承摄:继承掌管。⑵优文:意思是专门下文,给是仪优厚的待遇。⑶黄武:年号。⑷皖:地名。下文“建业”也是地名。⑸进达:举荐人才。
