美国老年痴呆协会推崇的10大健脑措施(In the meantime, the Alzheimer's Association has 10 Ways to Love Your Brain:)

1、经常进行体育锻炼或健身(Exercise your body)

2、经常用脑,如选修一门课程(Exercise your brain by taking a class)

3、不要吸烟(Don't smoke),包括不吸“二手烟”和“三手烟”

4、管控好自己的血压和血糖(Get your blood pressure and diabetes under control)

5、健康膳食(Eat a healthful diet),可遵循地中海膳食方案

6、高质量的睡眠,及时治疗失眠和睡眠呼吸暂停综合征(Sleep well. Treat insomnia and sleep apnea)

7、防治抑郁和焦虑(Get help for depression and anxiety)

8、拥有社交生活或圈子(Be socially active)

9、智力游戏等(Challenge your mind with games, art and hobbies)

10、保护头部,以避免受伤,如扎坐车安全带,骑车戴头盔和小心摔跤或跌倒(Protect your head. Wear a seat belt, use a helmet when riding a bike, and take steps to prevent falls.)

目前估计全美约有老年痴呆病友540万人,每年因此支出的保健费用高达2000亿美国(Alzheimer's disease affects an estimated 5.4 million people in the United States and results in more than $200 billion a year in health care costs, according to the Alzheimer's Association.)
