丙型肝炎的最大特点有：一是患病后患者常常没有自觉不适，而难发现；二则感染丙型肝炎病毒后无症状期可以维持相当长的一段时间，故易错失早期治疗良机；三是丙型肝炎完全可以通过服用某些药物而治愈。
