Lesson8  First,Second,Third 教学设计

一.教学目标
知识目标:掌握新单词 :first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth ,  

                      ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth.

          句型:Liming is the first .

                The girl is the second .

                The boy in red shorts is the third .

                January is the first month .

能力目标: 使学生掌握本课所学序数词,并能实际运用序数词。

情感态度:关注学生的喜好、需求,营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围。通过

           多样性的活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在英语课堂中不

           断体验成功,感受乐趣,树立自信心,促进学生综合语言运用能力  

           的发展。           

二.教学重难点

重点:first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth ,

     eleventh , twelfth.

难点:序数词的英文拼写及实际运用。

三.教学准备:幻灯片、单词图片、十二生肖图片、录音机、磁带、磁石、小奖品。

Step 1 Warm-up

  T: Class begins!

  T: Hello ! Boys and girls !

  S: Hello ! Teacher !

  T: Nice to meet you !

  S: Nice to meet you , too !

  T: Good , sit down , please !

  S: 头正,身直,脚放平。

(设计目的:熟练掌握问候语,活跃课堂气氛,创造学习英语的氛围,拉近师生的距离。)

Step 2  Preview

1. let’s have a race .

  教师把学生分为三组,每组12个人,每组左边的学生说唱one,one ,右边的学生说唱January,以此类推,选出最好的一组,奖励一颗星。

  Six , six------June

  【设计意图:通过数字、月份比赛这种学生喜闻乐见的形式复习学过的数字和月份,并为接下来学习第一至第十二的序数词做准备。】

  Teacher use the same way to teach “sixth ---twelfth ”.

 ( 备注:fifith , twelfth 多读几遍。)

(设计意图:教师通过拍手读、面对面读、拍桌子读等多种读单词的方法,提高孩子们的学习兴趣,帮助孩子们在轻松愉快的环境中掌握单词。)

3. a.Listen to the radio , then read after it on your desk.

  b. 教师请一位同学领读 ,边走边读,请他学生跟读。

  c. 接龙读,教师随时九阴纠正发音。    

(设计意图:教师通过坐在桌子上读、背靠背读、男女生对读、靠强度、边走边读等多种读单词的方法,调动孩子们的学习热情,提高他们的注意力,帮助孩子们在轻松愉快的环境中掌握单词。)

Step4 Practice

1. Have a race :

a.       race to be first to guess the word .

b.      What’s missing ?

  (教师出示幻灯片,请学生抢猜单词。)

  (教师把学生分为三组,抢猜单词最快最准最多的一组获胜,加一颗星。)

 2. Have a match .

  T: Who can tell me how many months are there in a year?

  S:Twelve.

  T: Look at part 2, I will give you two minutes to finish it .Begins.

  S: 学生连线

  T:OK! Look here, January is the first month .

  S: January is the first month .

  T: Next one .

  S1: February is the second .

  S2:.....

  教师出示答案。

(设计意图:通过小组讨论,使学生巩固所学序数词和月份,并能够运用到句子中。同时这种形式可以鼓励更多学生参与到活动中,进而得到锻炼和表达的机会。)

3. Pair work: The twelve animals of Chinese zodiac.

  T: Do you know the twelve animals of Chinese zodiac?

  S: Yes.

  T:What are they ?

  S: Mouse ,cow ,tiger ...

  T: Please talk about the twelve animals with your partners.

Who is the first ?  Mouse is the first .

Who is the second ?  Cow is the second.

  (教师在学生讨论的过程中巡视,纠正错误,请学生按顺序说出十二生肖的顺序,其他学生跟读,教师将其相应的图片贴在对应的序数词边上。)

(设计意图:通过小组讨论,使学生巩固所学序数词,并能够运用到句子中。同时这种形式可以鼓励更多学生参与到活动中,进而得到锻炼和表达的机会。)

 (教师在学生回答过程中把卡片贴在黑板上,其他学生站起来边做动作边说句子,选出回答问题最多的一组,加一颗星。)

4. 选出本堂课获胜的一组,每人再加一颗星。

Step 5 Consolidation and extension

    1. 教师出示序数词变换形式的幻灯片 :

 (备注:教师和学生一起拍手读。)

    (设计意图:让学生了解基数词变为序数词的规律。)

 Step 6 Homework

T: Take out your note book ,write down the homework .

1.Listen to the tape , read lesson 8 five times.

2.Finish activity books of this lesson.

3.Talk about the dates with your friends.
