1、1知识目标:能听、说、读、写有关天气的单词,sunny\rain\snow\windy\cloudy.
1、2能力目标:能够灵活运用句型“Will it be hot in Guangzhou? Yes, it will. \ No, it won’t.” 和句型“It will be windy in Beijing.” 培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力及用英语进行交际的能力。
1、3情感目标:培养学生的竞争意识和集体荣誉感。培养学生的合作学习,协作对话的团队学习精神,增强学生运用英语参与生活体验的情感。
二、教学重点:表示天气的单词sunny\rain\snow\windy\cloudy的听、说、读、写和本课主要句型的灵活运用。
三、教学难点:将表示天气的单词融入句型“Will it be … in … ?”和“It will be … in …” 并灵活运用它们。
四、教学用具:磁带、录音机、单词卡、世界地图和中国地图等。
Teaching steps:
Step1: Warmer
1、Greetings
T: Hello, children!
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine. Thanks .And you?
T: I’m great. Thank you very much. Look! What’s the weather like today? Is it windy today?
Ss: No, it isn’t.
T: Is it sunny today?
T: What day is today?
T: What day is tomorrow?
T: Will you have English on Friday?
2、Say a chant.
T: Boys and girl, let’s say a
chant,ok?
T&Ss: Cold ,cold. It’s very cold.
Close the door.
Hot,hot. It’s so hot.
Open the door.
Cool!
3、复习关于天气状况的单词:sunny, windy, cloudy,rain,snow,hot, cold, warm, cool.(在黑板上画出对应的天气符号。)
T:Now, let’s play a game with TPR.
Ss: Great!
Step2: Presentation
1)
Ss: A robot.
T: Yes. Can you act out a
robot?
T: Will it do
everything?
T: Will it do the housework?
T: Will it do our homework?
T: Will it help children learn?
2) T: The robot wants to join us. Let’s welcome. The robot
brings us a present. Listen! What is the robot
doing?
T: “天气”用英文是”weather”。Today the robot wil broadcast the weather. Now , you should find out China from this map as fast as you can. (出示世界地图)
S5: It’s here.
T: Now look at the map, what will the weather be like in Beijing?
T: Now who can tell me ,what will the weather be like in Beijing?
Ss: Windy.
T: Very good! Will it be windy in Beijing?
Ss: Yes, it will. It will be windy in Beijing.
T: Great! Today we are going to learn Unit 2 Will it be windy in Beijing? (板书课题)
T:Look! Where is it?
(出示中国地图)
T: What will the weather be in Sanya?
S6: It will be hot in Sanya.(用双手手背在额头上擦汗。)
T: Look! Where is
it?
T: What will the weather be in Changsha?(出示warm的图片)
S7: It will be warm in Changsha.(双手相互揉撮。)
T: This city is Shanghai. What will the weather be in Shanghai?(出示cool的图片)
S8: It will be cool in Shanghai.(闭眼,感觉很凉爽的样子。)
T: Boys and girls, where is it?
T: What will the weather be in Yinchuan? (出示cold的图片)
S9: It will be cold in Yinchuan.(双手环抱胸前,发抖。)
3) 将windy, rain, sunny, snow, cloudy融入句型It will be …in…(说句子比赛:教师不给任何提示,让学生说说最近周围的一些地方的天气情况)
S1: It will be windy in Beijing.
S2: It will rain in Hangzhou.
S3: It will be sunny in Guangzhou.
S4: It will
S5: It will be cloudy in Chengdu.
4) Practice
T: now practice the weather with your own cards, work in pairs,
please.
5) 教学句型Will it…?
T: Will it be windy in Beijing?(教师一边以口气吹,一边将手由右上方向左滑动做刮风状)
Ss: Yes, it will.

Ss: No, it won’t.

T: Will it be sunny in Hangzhou?(动作同上)
S2: No, it won’t.
T: Will it be sunny in Guangzhou?(一只手在头上方,手掌由拳状张开,手心向下反复做撒东西动作)

T:( 用双手手背在额头上擦汗) Will it…?
Ss: Will it be hot in Sanya?
T: Yes, it will.
T:( 手指扭动,由上缓慢前后飘荡向下)Will it…?
Ss: Will it snow in Shenyang?
T: Yes, it will. Will it be hot in Shenyang?(动作同上)
Ss: No, it won’t.
T: Will it snow in Yinchuan? (双手环抱胸前,发抖)
S5: No, it won’t.
T: Will it be cold in Yinchuan?(动作同上)
Step3: Practice
1)T: Children, let’s play a game—“ Guess tomorrow’s weather” ,ok?
Ss:OK!
e.g. S1: (通过瑟瑟发抖表现cold)
2)让学生利用手中卡片两人一组练习猜测天气,操练新句型Will it …?及Yes,it will 和No,it won’t回答。操练完后让几组同学用图片表演。说得好的给予奖励.

Step5:Production :Make a chart and say the weather
制作未来一周天气预报表格,填入天气状况,然后模仿机器人播报各个城市的天气状况。(天气状况可以用符号表示,不一定要填写单词)

Homework:
1、朗读课文20分钟,家长签字。
2、两人一组合作制作一幅简单的中国地图,上有某些城市近期
天气情况预报。依照图相互练习对话。
