The diagram is used to present the process of glass bottles recycling, covering three main stages.

First of all, used bottles, as the raw materials of this process of recycling, are collected at a recycling point. These are to be transported to a cleaning plant.

Then, at the subsequent stage, bottles in the cleaning plant are washed by high-pressurized water, and classified according to color into green, brown or to whether they are clear or not. After this classification, bottles are conveyed to a recycling plant and then poured into a furnace. With the force of elevated temperature, bottles are melted into recycled liquid glass, which is to be put into a glass mold with new liquid glass.

In the final stage, new empty bottles are reused by manufacturing factory to hold diverse kinds of liquid, and after that they are distributed to supermarkets, prepared to be picked by consumers. In such a procedure, a cycle has completed and a new one will begin.
