我十多年交情的“大妹子”发给了我她喜欢的一首诗，一定是看了我上一篇博客。

这是一首spiritual poem，是一首有关信仰的诗。但其中的一些智慧和安慰是没有信仰的人也可以受用和领会的。想跟大家分享一下。

"Go to the Limits of Your Longing"

God speaks to each of us as he makes us,
then walks with us silently out of the night.

These are the words we dimly hear:

You, sent out beyond your recall,
go to the limits of your longing.
Embody me.

Flare up like a flame
and make big shadows I can move in.

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.
Just keep going. No feeling is final.
Don't let yourself lose me.

Nearby is the country they call life.
You will know it by its seriousness.

我的理解：

我们来到这个世界上就回不去了。

就走到我们心愿和热情的尽头吧。

燃烧自己。

迎接所有，美好的和可怕的。

继续，因为没有什么感受是最终，是恒久的。

通过它的严肃和沉重，你会知道，这 就是生命。

最触动我的是这几句：

Flare up like a flame

面对生活的种种，我们时常会有畏惧。哪怕是经历着快乐，有的时候我们也会害怕。

我们有欲望，有渴求，有热情，有想做的事情和爱上的人。但是我们往往会害怕。害怕失败，害怕失望，害怕冰冷和无法改变的事实，害怕真心付出后得到的冷漠和拒绝。

所以我们会想要控制。别给那么多，就不会失去太多。别敞开自己的心，这样伤害不会刺痛太深。

但那样我们的人生岂不是会太平淡？像永远煮不开的温水，燃不起火焰的碳？

同样是一次来到这个世界上的经历，何不活到极致？

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror.

去体验吧，人生中这些真正的快乐和刺心的疼痛，它的美好和它的可怕。它们肯定是并存的。

Just keep going. No feeling is final.

当你绝望的时候，需要做的只是继续向前走。

因为，一定要提醒自己，特别是当你觉得一切已无法忍受的时候：没有什么感受是尽头，没有什么感受有能力变得永久。大悲大喜，都有结束和再开始的时候。

当你走出懵懂和天真，当你接受过打动你的爱和恨，经历过难以承受的快乐和痛苦，你就知道了它的严肃，它的坚持，它的沉重。你也就开始了解生命了。

希望这首诗能在大家软弱，犹豫，茫然，痛苦，绝望和无奈的时候带来一些力量。

当我一遍遍问“为什么”的时候，答案也在一步步地展开，因为这就是生命。你只不过在体验罢啦。
