Module 9   Cartoon stories

课型:前置语法课

学习目标:定语从句

课前朗读

朗读学过的单词、短语、对话、课文等或预习的新单词等

教学过程:

一、情景导入:展示词、短语作定语的例句,进一步引入定语从句

尽量利用教室内的人和物,展示词、短语做定语的例句,为学生创设一个真实的语言环境。如:1、The big desk is our teacher’s.  The desk in the front of the classroom is our teacher’s.2、 The beautiful girl is Lucy. The girl beside me is Lucy.让学生试着找出句中作定语的词或短语,并观察他们的位置有何不同。

然后让学生模仿例句写句子,同桌间讨论 教师巡回指导。让写得比较好的同学到黑板上进行展演

利用身边的人或物,创设语言情境, 更能激发学生的学习兴趣,为下面定语从句的学习铺路搭桥。

二、精讲规则:引导学生根据教师的汉语提示,说出包含定语从句的句子并及时指导。

学生对词和短语作定语的句子有了进一步的了解之后,学习定语从句就不再感到陌生了。教师可引导学生将上述两组句子用定语从句的方式来表达。The desk that’s in the front of the classroom is our teacher’s. The girl who is wearing a red skirt is Lucy. (板书在黑板上)让学生观察并说出句子的定语部分,说一下它们是由词、短语还是句子充当的 ,进一步引出定语从句这一语法。

至此学生对定语从句已经有了一个初步的认识,然后教师简要介绍定语从句的相关知识:在句中起定语作用修饰某一名词或代词,或修饰整个主句的从句,叫做定语从句。如例句中的that’s in the front of the classroom       who is wearing a  red skirt.分别是先行词the desk 和the girl的定语。定语从句在先行词的后面.

引导定语从句的词有关系代词that ,who, whom, which, whose和关系副词when ,where ,why等。关系代词或关系副词放在先行词和定语从句之间,起联系作用,同时又做定语从句的某个成分。在这个单元中我们主要涉及到who ,that,which引导的定语从句,who用于指人,在定语从句中作主语或宾语;that 在从句中可指人也可指物,在定语从句中可作主语,也可做宾语。作宾语时关系代词that可以省略,但做主语时关系代词that不能省略;which用于指物,在定语从句中可作主语也可做宾语。通过反复练习进一步掌握定语从句的用法。.

三、专项练习:先说后写,通过反复练习进一步掌握定语从句的用法。

1.口头练习,由易到难

1)学生模仿黑板上的例句 结合教室里的人或物,口头组合句子。可在同桌间、小组间进行。

For example:

The book that’s on your desk is an English book .

The boy who is in front of me is our monitor.

2)尝试着给下列句中名词加上一个定语从句。

I like the cartoons.

Lily loves singers.

Tom prefers movies.

3)同桌一起讨论各自喜欢的老师。

I like teachers who are strict with us.

I like teachers who are friendly to us.

2.笔头练习,由简到繁。

1)在练习本上用两三句话描述身边的人或物。然后同桌交流,小组讨论。  

2)用三五句话描述自己对老师或同学的偏爱。同桌交流,小组讨论,最后推荐几名同学把文章读给同学听,全班交流。举一反三地反复练习,让学生在理解的基础上,综合运用定语从句,。

教师根据学生在交流过程中存在的问题进行点拨、指导。

四、综合运用:在专项强化训练的基础上,设计综合练习,使学生将本课学习的语法知识进行灵活运用,达到掌握和学以致用的目的。

在班内搞一个调查,根据同学们的喜好填写表格。

1)在课堂上每人搞一个调查,填写表格。这样的活动,更能调动学生的参与兴趣,既要开动脑筋,精心准备,还要仔细聆听,细心观察,做出判断或改错。通过这一活动有效地提高学生的口语表达能力,锻炼学生的交际能力。

2)根据表格内容,同桌间或小组间相互介绍调查结果,进行结对互评或小组互评。(以第三人称为主语)

3)在全班同学面前展示调查结果。(以第三人称为主语)

4)再次精讲定语从句规则,最后落实到笔头训练的形式。

整节课我注意激发学生的学习积极性,调动更多学生的参与热情,引导学生学会做课堂的真正主人。通过多层次多角度的练习,学生基本上掌握了定语从句的用法。

教学过程:

预习词汇:

    布置学生预习词汇,能够根据音标读出并了解汉语意思,养成学生自主学习的习惯。相互矫正发音,体现合作精神。

课前朗读:

朗读本课新单词短语,同时巩固预习效果。

一、              新课导入:

1、    检查词汇:采用多种形式检查学生对词汇的预习情况可以采取学生结对、小组互查等形式。

1)  读给同桌听,相互矫正发音,。

2)  读给小组同学听,组长负责矫正发音。

3)读给全班同学听,教师矫正发音。

通过这些活动,充分体现“兵教兵”“官教兵”,一帮一,一对红这一学习理念,同时也体现了同学间的合作精神。

2、展示新知识:(出示一张卡通片喜羊羊与灰太狼的图片)

教师可根据自己的喜好说几个由who /that/which引导的定语从句。本活动为下面的听力训练做准备。I like the cartoons that have a happy ending. I like the characters who are very clever and brave like Sun Wukong.

3、专项练习:

1)看图话,说出你所喜欢的卡通片及卡通人物。

2)倾听一下同桌对这些问题的意见。

3)      听录音,标记出表达Tony和Betty观点的词。

4)      再听一遍录音,说出Tony和Betty的观点。

5)      同桌间进行问答练习:

3、学后读:学生分角色朗读对话。

四、说的训练

1、分角色表演对话。

2、阅读3,和同桌一起讨论你最近看过的卡通片,谈一下你对卡通片的喜好。

五、学以致用

1、谈一下自己对音乐的偏爱

2、把自己对卡通片、卡通人物的偏爱填写在表格内,然后在班内搞一个调查,把同学们对卡通片、卡通人物的偏爱填写在表格内。

  Jolly Sheep and Big Big Wolf, a cartoon film based on a popular Chinese cartoon TV series, has won the hearts of children in China. The Chinese cartoon began to be shown in public on January 16, 2009, the first day of the winter holiday for Chinese primary school students. The children seemed to go straight from the school to the cinema.

   Two weeks after its release (首次上映),the cartoon film got a box office income(票房收入) of 68 million yuan, bigger than that of an American film Madagascar 2, which was released in China on January 1, 2009.

   “I think it is more interesting than Madagascar 2,”said 8-year-old Wang Lu, who had seen both the Chinese and American cartoon films.
