               David Copperfield

            When I read the story of David Copperfield, I was amazed at the main
            character, David Copperfield.
            In his early childhood, I think he was the happiest boy in the
            world. Though he had not a father, he was surrounded by the love of
            his mother and the kind housekeeper. They tried their best to give
            him happiness and what he wanted. In their company, he grew up
            healthily and happily.
            But when Mr. Murdstone who became his stepfather later appeared in
            his life, his happiness was replaced with sadness. He was no longer
            the lucky boy that he used to be. He and the housekeeper, especially
            his mother were totally in Mr. Mudstones’ power. The cold man was
            determined to crush the little boy, so he behaved badly to the boy
            in the way that I can’t believe. Things became even worse when
            David’s mother passed away. David experienced many serious things
            from which he suffered a lot.
            Luckily, he found his aunt and she accepted him. After some ups and
            downs, he finally achieved happy endings and new life.
            As far as I am concerned, he is a brave boy full of courage, belief
            and confidence. When he meets difficulties, he never gives up but
            tries his best to overcome the things that many people think
            impossible. He challenges his bad life and stays optimistic. I
            admire him and cheer for him.

            Aunt Betsey didn’t like boy, so she went away when David Copperfield
            was born. In David’s childhood, he lived happily with his kind
            mother and their housekeeper Peggotty. He didn’t need to worry about
            anything. However, the things changed quickly. Her mother made a
            mistake. She married a cruel man. David’s life became very hard.
            Under his inspection, he couldn’t learn well. He tried to struggle
            with him, but in vain. At last, he was banished to boarding school.
            To his surprise and happiness, he made a lot of friends there and
            they helped him a lot. Unluckily, during his school times, his
            mother died. David howled the cry of an orphan..
            Mr. Murstone was still cruel to him. David was sent to work.
            Luckily, he met two kind people Mr. Quinion and his wife. Though
            they were poor, they were positive. They suggested that David should
            go to look for his only relative Aunt Betsey. On his way to Aunt
            Betsey’s home, his money was robbed by a bad man. It was a struggle
            for him to find Aunt Betsey. Luckily Aunt Betsey adopted him and she
            didn’t allow Mr. Murstone to play any further part in his life. He
            could live free with Aunt Betsey and a kind man Dick.
            Aunt Betsey sent David to a new school. He met Mr. Wickfield and his
            daughter. There was another man called Urich Heep. He was a worm.
            Urich Heep had scheme and he came to getting his way. He even wanted
            to marry Agens. At last, David made his hope fall with the help of
            Mr. Quinion.
            The novel has a good ending. David married Agens, lived happily with
            Aunt Betsey and became a great writer.
            From the book, I learnt a lot. When we have trouble, we should be
            optimistic. The things can always become better in the end. All we
            need to do is to insist on our belief. We should have courage to
            fight with evilness and we can’t give in to it. We need to make some
            true friends, so that we can live more colorful. What’s more, we
            need have a dream and try our best to realize it!

            Who could have guessed that little David Copperfield would at last
            gain happiness? I didn’t guess it at the beginning, but I knew it
            would come true when I had finished half of this book. It was David
            himself who led to this pleasant ending. In general, David was not
            brave enough, and he was bullied for quite a long time. However, he
            was smart. He knew what to do when he faced the biggest crossroads
            in his life which also became one of the most important choices in
            his life. He had the courage to walk cross cities to earn his future
            life, so there’s no surprise for his success.
            In SALEM HOUSE Steerforth was an angle in a way. He protected David
            from beating but he can’t beat his selfishness, so he took Emily
            away. Besides, he was a person who lacks responsibility, as he left
            Emily aboard. So his death was expected to readers.
            So, I think every thing leads to an end.

            This book tells about David Copperfield. David lived with his mother
            and their housekeeper Peggotty at first. However, his mother then
            married Mr. Murdstone, who was a cruel man and who treated David
            badly. Soon, his mother died and he was forced to work at a
            warehouse. Then, David escaped and found his great aunt. Finally,
            David became a successful writer and married Agnes.
               From David Copperfield, I think we should have hopes all the
            time. I think hope deserts us at no period of our existence.
            Sometimes, when we feel hopeless, then something good may happen and
            they surprise us very much. Like David, his aunt adopted him
            finally. So what we need to do is working hard with hope. And
            finally, we can be successful.
               Besides, I believe kind people will have good results at last.
            Like Agnes, she loved David, but David first married Dora. Agnes
            certainly felt very disappointed. However, she did not envy Dora and
            she treated David as her best friend instead. When Dora died, she
            helped David a lot. When David traveled abroad, she encouraged David
            to insist on his dream. Finally, David fell in love with her and
            married her. So I think we should always keep our kind hearts. We
            should believe that we can realize our dreams if we treat others
            kindly and faithfully. Do you think so?
              A hopeful and kind person can succeed at last.
              So be a person with hope and kindness!

            When I first saw the name of the book, I just thought of the
            character ‘David Copperfield’ as the magician in the USA. However,
            when I have read the book, I found that I was wrong . So I was
            disappointed about the book.
            But a Chinese poet ever said “A sudden glimpse of hope in the dark
            mist of bewilderment, it is a long lane that has no turning.” While
            I was devoted to reading the book, I found it interesting.
            David Copperfield was a boy who lost his parents when he was young.
            Compared with us, he was unfortunate. Far more about it, his
            stepfather was very strict with him and was so cruel that he always
            beat David. Daid was very poor, so I teared when I watched the film.
            To our surprise, David was cheered up. He knew that all thing
            depended on himself, even though he was only a child. He made a
            plan, that he should centered on his living relative, Great-Aunt
            Betsey Trotwood. He started walking out of London on the Dover road.
            He was tired and penniless!
            Finally, he made it to Dover and kind Betsey took him in. By that
            time, he had began a new and happy life. When he grew up, he became
            a good writer as his mother expected. During his life, he was
            helpful, so he had many friends. Also, two beautiful girls fell in
            love with him .He was always unlucky, his first wife died at a young
            age. He was very sad about it .But he was still brave and calm.
            During that period of time, he wrote many famous books.
            Then I knew “Only when we have underwent the hardest time could we
            make great successes. Always have a dream. Forget about the days
            when it's been cloudy, but don't forget your hours in the sun.
            Forget about the times you've been defeated, but don't forget the
            victories you've won. Forget about the misfortunes you've
            encountered, but don't forget the times your luck has turned. Forget
            about the days when you've been lonely, but don't forget the
            friendly smiles you've seen. Forget about the plans that didn't seem
            to work out right, but don't forget to always have a dream.”

                    I have a great admiration for the main character, David
            after reading this book. Faced with happiness and sadness in life,
            David became a thoughtful man. He finally gained his happiness. What
            moved me most is David's spirit. The one he showed when facing the
            difficulties. He never gave up. Under his stepfather's force, he
            didn't give up even though he was only a child. When he was banished
            and had to face the curl principle, he never gave up. When hearing
            the death of his mother, he overcame his sorrow and encouraged
            himself to live on. He also experienced the warehouse, the death of
            his friends and the struggle with unpleasant Heep. He was also
            helpful even though he suffered a lot of things. He helped Mr.
            Wickfield to get rid of Heep's control. I think what I can learn
            from David is that I should always be positive wherever I am just as
            David does.

            My name is David Copperfield, my life has been full of ups and
            downs. My story started in Suttolk where I was born and then I lived
            with my mother and our housekeeper Peggotty. Later my mother married
            a very a very cruel man, Mr Murdstone, which became an awful news
            because Mr. Murdstone was the kind of man that smothered all hope
            and happiness. He was very strict with me and often beat me. After
            the terrible things that I bit him, I was banished to boarding
            school and there I made a new friend who took good care of me named
            Steerforth. When I came back to my home, the bad news I heard was
            that my mother died and I howled the cry of becoming an orphan. I
            felt as if my whole world had just shattered. Then it became a hard
            time during my life. I was sent to the warehouse to work there. My
            jobs were to wash empty wine bottles, paste labels on full ones. One
            dreary day in the warehouse, I thought I could run away in search of
            a better life. I made a plan and finally I met my only living
            relative, Great-Aunt Betsey Trotwood and lived happy there. My aunt
            offered me a new school and then I lived at Mr. Wickfileld and I
            made a new friend named Agnes. However, there was also a scheme
            there, the red-haired boy Uriah was thinking to cost Mr. Wickfield’s
            money and he wanted to marry his daughter, Agnes. Luckily, his
            scheme was not successful.
            Finally , I married Agnes and lived happily with my Aunt Betsey.
            From the story, I learned that we should be a brave and loved
            person. Sometimes when you meet trouble, you needn’t cry for what
            you lost and feel hopeless, you should be positive and take the
            chance to change our lives.
            
              
            How to educate a child?

            David’s mother loved him very much. She had never shouted at David
            and she allowed David to do anything he liked. That’s not right.
            Parents should love their children, but they shouldn’t love them too
            much. If parents satisfy their children all they want, they will
            become spoiled. For example, some children are over-fatted. They eat
            too much unhealthy food like hamburgers and chips. Their parents
            never stopped them, just because they liked eating this food.
            However, they don’t realize that their love does harm to their
            children, and they are continuing to harm their children.
            Mr. Murdstone was too strict with David. Maybe he treated David so
            badly because David wasn’t his own son. In fact, some fathers often
            whack their children when they don’t listen to them or make some
            mistakes. Even though they are good for their children, the way they
            treat their children is wrong. When their children are too young to
            understand them, they may think their father doesn’t like him or
            her. Then they would be afraid of their father even hate them.
            Parents should be patient. When their children make a mistake
            carelessly, they should point out the mistake and help them to think
            of a solution. Parents should encourage their children to do
            something they don’t like instead of ordering them. Sometimes,
            parents’ support is the best help to children.
            Maybe Aunt Betsey’s education was the best of the three. Under her
            education. David became a successful man. However. Aunt Betsey
            didn’t believe men. In my opinion, believing others is an important
            ability. If you doubt everyone around you, your life will be boring
            and sad. However, that’s not mean you should believe everyone. You
            should have your own idea. Parents should believe their children and
            let them fly freely in their own sky.
            
            New beginnings

            David Copperfield’s life has been full of ups and downs. His mother
            died when he was banished to a boarding school. His cruel
            step-father considered him as a bad boy and sent him to work in the
            warehouse. Luckily, he got rid of him and had a new life with his
            aunt Betsey.
            David was a unfortunate man, but he was so brave to overcome the
            difficulty. When he began a new life, he worked hard and become a
            successful writer. Though his beautiful wife Dora died, David began
            a new life with Agnes again, and had a happy ending.
            Our life is full of difficulties too. We can’t do everything
            successfully and easily. If we can’t fight against the difficulties,
            we will have a hard life. David’s courage is admirable. We should be
            inspired by him
             
           Trouble is a friend

            “My life has been full of ups and downs.” The writer Charles Dickens
            starts his novel with this sentence. I feel it strong and practical.
            However, not only David but also everyone in the novel has the same
            experience--full of ups and downs.Then, I will tell you something of
            the main characters.
            First, I think David is very lucky. Though there are many bad people
            around his life, there are also a lot of kind peoples in his life,
            such as Peggnoty, Aunt Betsey and so on. While his step-father
            treateded him in a terrible way and so did the boarding school’s
            teachers, David grew up toughly but healthily. He didn’t lose his
            way in his life and never harmed others. David became a writer and
            had a happy life at last.
            Second, I want to talk about Aunt Betsey. According to the passage,
            she was a good aunt and a good person. She took in David when he was
            alone in the world, raised him and helped him to find work. We don’t
            know why she did so, but we must say that Aunt Betsey had a kind
            spirit, a shiny spirit.
            The last, I want to tell something about David’s second wife—Ange.
            Obviously, Ange appeared late in the novel. She was Aunt Betsey’s
            lawyer’s daughter. David thought she was very beautiful but never
            imagined that she should be his wife. When the old lawyer was
            trapped with trouble, Ange turned to David for helpand built a good
            friendship. It was Ange who cheered him up and encouraged him to be
            a writer when David was in deep sadness after his first wife’s
            death.At last, they got married with all people’s good wishes.
            The novel tells the readers how to deal with trouble and how to face
            difficulties. We should deal with trouble with our true heart and
            face difficulties bravely. At the same time, we should enjoy our
            life and love our friends, family. God gives us lives and he gives
            us trouble, too. To some, trouble means enemies. To others, trouble
            is a friend which is worth a lot. If we treat him friendly, he will
            return us a lot. We should live actively and then we can gain
            happiness at last. Please believe that!

            Through the story, David Copperfield had a very hard life in the
            beginning but his ending is good, which make me happy. I think he
            can gain happiness at last bacause he never gave up and was kind to
            others.
            His father had died six months before he was born. So David lived
            with his mother and their housekeeper Peggotty. But his aunt, Betsey
            Trotwood didn't like him.Then his mother married a very cruel man,
            Mr Murdstone. David was sent to boarding school. He was always
            considered as a bad child. He can't get his mother's love because of
            his step-father.
            Because Mr Murdstone did badly to his mother, his mother died and
            David bacame an orphan. David left the warehouse to find his aunt,
            who took him in. I think she was a kind person. She didn't hate he
            any more and looked after he well. Soon she sent David to a new
            school, where David had a different life. David always worked hard
            and was friendly to others. Then he decided to become a lawyer.I am
            very sad when his first wife died. But later David became a
            successful writer and married another good girl,Agnes.
            After reading the story, I know if you want to succeed and gain
            happiness, you should be positive and work hard and always be kind
            to others. When we meet difficulty, we shouldn't give up and be sad.

            When I first saw the title of the book David Copperfield, I thought
            that the book may be about the great magician. However, it is not
            the same as what I thought. David Copperfield was a successful
            writer. He lived a hard and terrible life when he was young. The
            book is mainly about the growth of David. After finishing the book,
            many thoughts came up in my mind.
            There are many characters in the book. Difficult characters have
            different qualities and personalities. David’s stepfather was a very
            cruel man. His name was Murdstone and he was the kind of man that
            smothers all hope and happiness like his name stone. He was like a
            evil ghost and he ordered David’s mother and bullied her. David was
            sent away to boarding school because of Mr Murdstone’s.
            Unfortunately, David’s mother died because living with the cruel
            Murstone used up every bit of her strength. Then Mr Murdstone was
            more strict with David. He sent David to work at a warehouse. Though
            David became an orphan, he didn’t give in and he found his great
            aunt, Miss Betsey Trotwood. His great aunt was a kind and helpful
            woman. She gave David a home and looked after him, and this gave him
            a glimmer of hope that she might care well for him.
            David began a happier life with his anut. David went to work at a
            law firm where he met Uriah Heep who caused many problems and Agnes
            who became his good friend. Uriah Heep was a cheat and forger. He
            had a big scheme, that is he wanted to replace Mr Wickfield and
            marry Agnes. As a result, Uriah Heep did get his way. Mr Micawber
            listed Uriah Heep’s crimes. Uriah’s face twisted with rage. David
            resolved the problems caused by Heep and married a beautiful young
            woman. Sadly she died, but in time David became a successful writer
            and married Agnes.
            As far as I am concerned, the main character David had a special
            life. His experiences were full of difficulties and dangers. But he
            overcame them one by one. He was hard-working, brave and optimistic.
            At that point, he became an orphan but he didn’t give in to life. He
            found the hope of life and lived happily finally.

            David Copperfield is a poor child. He could have lived with his
            mother and Peggotty happily. Real life is always so cruel. Mr
            Murdstone, his stepfather treated him badly. He was so weak that he
            couldn't defend himself against a fully-grown man. He was sad when
            his mother died and became an orphan.
            David Copperfield couldn't bear the behaviour of Mr Murdstone and
            his sister, so he started to live with his aunt. Though his aunt
            didn't like boys, he could also feel the love and care from her.
            Then he knew Agnes and Mr Wickfied which made him happy while there
            were some things making him feel blue such as the death of Dora and
            his friends. At last little David Copperfield gained happiness from
            Aunt Betsy and his wife Agnes.
            We may not have such experiences, but we can meet problems in our
            life. Facing them, they may treat them bravely and will be positive.
            For others, they may want to escape and will be negative. The result
            of the story tells us we should be brave and also be thankful to
            those who help you.
            Have you been inspired to solve the problems from the story? Maybe

            I will never forget a story called David Copperfield. Because it has
            a good effect on me.
            David Copperfield's life was full of ups and downs. His early
            childhood was very happy. But when his mother married a very cruel
            man, Mr Muidstone was rude to him and David was sent away to
            boarding school where David met Steerforth and they became friends.
            Even though the life at Mr Creakle's school was still boring and
            harsh, he was happy at times. When he met some problems, Steerforth
            always helped him.
            When he was told that her mother died, he was very sad. He was
            forced to work at a warehouse. Then he found his aunt, Miss Betssy
            Trowood, and he lived happily with her.
            David went to work at a law firm where he met Uriah Heep. Uriah Heep
            was terrible and caused a lot of problems. He wanted to achieve his
            goals. But at last, David resolved the problems. David married a
            beautiful young woman. Unfortunately, she died but in time David
            became a successful writer and fell in love with Agnes.
            From this story, I can know that David was very brave. When he was
            in trouble, he didn't give up. He tried his best to get out of trap.
            I dislike Mr Muidstone because he was so cruel. I really can't
            imagine that he treated a child like that.
             We should learn from David and face the reality bravely.

            The book is talking about a boy called David Copperfield whose life
            is rough. Copperfield's father had died six mouths before he was
            born. Then his mother married Mr Murdstone. After reading the book I
            think his mother's choice was a mistake. Murdstone was very cruel.
            He sent Copperfield to a shabby boarding school when David's mother
            died and then sent David to London to work in the warehouse.
            He trapped David's mother like a caged bird and bullied and broke
            her. I think Mr Murdstone is a foul wretch and everyone can look
            down upon him. If I were David, I can't bear to live with the
            hateful Murdstone.
            The book also has some plots which surprise me. For example, Ham
            lost his life for saving a people. In the end, we found the person
            he wanted to save is Steerforth, who encouraged Emilly to run away.
            After reading the book, I think everyone has chances to get
            happiness. David's life has been
            full of ups and downs but at last, he gains happiness. So we should
            try our best to pursue happiness. We shouldn't complain our lives,
            we should be positive and optimistic.

            When I first saw the title, I thought it may tell the story of David
            Copperfield who was known for his magic. But when I finish reading,
            I eventually know it is not about magic. It is a novel based on the
            experiences of David Copperfield. Charles Dickens , the writer, is
            also considered one of the great early writers.
             David was considered as a bad child when he was young. Mr Murdstone
            often ruthlessly beated him. I think he's father was like the devil
            as well. David's motherand Peagotty loved David very much. But they
            were under Mr Murdstone's control. When he was nine, he was sent to
            the boarding school where he recognized Steerforth who often helped
            and protected him and they became friends. David was happy in the
            school. Afterhis mother died, David was arranged to work at a
            warehouse.
             But not everyone in David life was not good. His aunt, Miss Betsey
            Trotwood was a kind and helpful woman. David lived a happy life with
            her. With his aunt's help, David went to work at a law firm where he
            met Uriah Heep. Uriah Heep was a man who was full of scheme. He used
            a despicable means to become Agnes's father's partner. Besides, he
            also wanted to marry Agnes. What a joke! David tried his best to
            stop this. And during this experience, he found his true love -Dora.
            He married her and had a good time with her. Sadly, she died but in
            time David became a successful writer and married Agnes.
            David’s life was full of joys and sorrows. In the novel the
            formation of a series of tragedy is money. From the experience of
            David, I think we should be optimistic while meeting unpleasant
            things because everything would be fine. On the other hand,
            unpleasant things can also be the motivation to live better.

            David Copperfied was written by Dickens. Before I kew this, I didn't
            pay much attention to the book. But when I knew that another great
            writter, Toerstire, liked the book so much that he read the book
            many times, I cared more about this book.
            David had many qualities that could be found from ourselves. He was
            innocent, hard-working, honesty and enthusiastic.When his stepfather
            treated him cruely, he tried his best to put up with him and urged
            himself not to fight with the evil man. When I read about this, I
            had a lot of sympathy for David. My heart was shivering when David
            was beaten by Mr Murdstone. Luckily, David met a kind boy,
            Steerforth. Steerhouse helped David a lot, but did a lot of bad
            things to
            Poggttys. There is no perfect person in the world.
            To be honest, I like Aunt Betsey best. She was a perfect aunt
            indeed. She was wealthy but very kind. She helped David without any
            rewards. She never cared about the money she had spent on David. I
            belive she was the best role above all characters covered in the
            book.
            The world has created many kind people. However, I know that
            there're still many people like Uriah and his mother. They always do
            things that harm others and just benefit themselves. In spite of
            this fact, I still think if someone really loves another person, he
            will do everything for
            the person.
            David must be a lucky boy who met so many good people. Maybe there
            are many difficulties in our future life, my attitude will always be
            positive. I believe we won't always meet bad people and will finally
            find a person who is worth being dedicated to. Let's give our best
            wishes to David Copperfield.

            had black hair and a hard, cold, handsome face but didn’t like him
            at all, he started the life with fearness .
            While David had been away from the house of Dan Peggotty who was
            Peggotty’s brother, his mother had married Mr.Murdstone.
            Mr.Murdstone sent David away to boarding school.
            Unluckily, David’s mother died and he was forced to work at a
            warehouse. But David succeeded in finding his great-aunt, Miss
            Betsey Trotwood with his struggle and lived a happier life with her.
            David was sent to a new school and lived with Mr.Wickfield. There
            David met Uriap Heep, who caused many problems and Agnes, who became
            a good fried. David resolved the problems caused by Heep and married
            a beautiful young woman called Dora.Sadly Dora died early and left
            David alone.
            Some time later, David’s friends Ham and Steerforth died and he went
            travelling abroad as he had planned. Finally, David was encouraged
            by Agnes and married Agnes. He lived a happy life later .
            David was only a common boy, he was poor and unlucky. But he never
            gave up. He was better than a hero.We should learn from him. We
            shouldn’t give up easily and be beaten by difficulties. We must try
            our best to do something we want. And we shouldn’t be like
            Mr.Murdstone. We should be friendly to others and help others when
            they meet problems. If we do this, others will be friendly to us and
            help us too.
            Besides, from the story of David, I know that we should make friends
            with the one who is kind and helpful, not the one who is rude. It is
            important for us to make good friends.
