      范妮·伯尼Fanny Burney（1752～1840） 也称达布莱夫人，英国女小说家。音乐史专家查尔斯·伯尼之女。所著第一部小说《埃维莉娜》(1778)，成名后成为塞缪尔·约翰逊博士的挚友。1786～1791年在王宫负责照管御用礼服。1793年42岁时与法国移民亚历山大·达尔布莱结婚。其书简和日记对她的所见所闻作了真实生动的描述。

     《伊夫莱娜》用时兴的书信体写成，记述了一名自幼被父亲遗弃在乡下由人收养长大的少女，步入伦敦社交界后经历了种种尴尬景况和羞辱磨难，终于赢得意味高尚贵族青年的爱情，并得到其父亲的承认。作品还穿插了女主人公对城市商人阶级及上层社会的敏锐观察和细微刻画。全书结构严谨，语言清新生动，委婉地表现了妇女在父权社会中的艰难处境，小说出版后博得了好评。

       松坡图书馆：1916年11月8日，蔡锷将军病逝于日本福冈医院。12月5日，梁启超在上海为蔡将军举办了公祭与私祭，并倡议创办松坡图书馆。初起，因“顺以时事多故，集资不易，仅在上海置松社。” 1923年，梁启超上书时任民国大总统的黎元洪，复提此事。不久，黎元洪下总统令，拨北海公园的快雪堂作为馆址。当年11月4日，松坡图书馆正式成立，梁启超出任馆长。
