Is Animal Cruelty Law Acceptable?

It is human beings and other types of wildlife that ①constitute our diverse and beautiful world. Nevertheless, we can frequently hear reports about ②animal abuses through the media. A lot of pets such as dogs and cats have been hurt or even killed cruelly by some people, which have triggered a spirited debate in the society. In my opinion, the animal rights should be well protected legally.

The animal rights should be respected and some relative laws should be passed to ③guard against their rights. First and foremost, the animals are the friends of human beings and they should ④live in harmony on the globe. However, the truth is that animals are always weak and disadvantaged. They are the targets and victims of human activities. What is more, the relative laws may help people ⑤raise the awareness of animal protection. The laws may function to ⑥regulate the daily actions and the living habits of human beings. Any violation of animal rights may result in some punishment. Lastly, the relative laws will ⑦be of great benefit to the environment protection. The animal rights will be ensured and the ⑧biological species will be well preserved.

To sum up, we should pass some laws to protect the rights of the animals which are treated cruelly by some people. Only in this way can man and the animals live harmoniously.
