七)开篇

③ …has become a heated topic.    ……已经成为一个热门话题。

    最近，这种现象已成为一个热门话题。

④ the issue arouse great concern among ...  这个问题引起……的极大关注

例：Recently the issue has aroused great concern among critics.

    最近，这个问题已经引起评论家的极大关注。

⑤ Nowadays there is a growing concern over...    如今人们越来越关注……

例：Nowadays there is a growing concern over the growth of the housing prices.

    如今人们越来越关注房价的增长。

⑥ Never in our history has the idea that ... been so popular.  在我们的历史上，……的想法从未如此受欢迎。

⑦ Faced with ..., quite a few people argue that...  面对……,相当多的人认为……

八)结尾

例：It is high time that strict measures were taken to stop wasting water.

    现在是时候采取严厉措施制止浪费水资源了。

③ It is necessary that steps should be taken to ...   有必要采取措施……

例：It is necessary that steps should be taken to avoid waste and extravagance.

    有必要采取措施避免铺张浪费。

④ In conclusion, it is imperative that ...   总之，……是非常重要的。

例：In conclusion, it is imperative that reduce transport costs.

    总之，降低交通成本是非常重要的。

⑤ There is no easy method, but ...might be of some help.    没有简单方法，但……可能会帮我。

例：There is no easy method, but the expansion of knowledge might be of some help.

    没有简单方法，但扩展知识面可能会对我有所帮助。

⑥ To solve the above-mentioned problem, we must ...   为了解决上述问题，我们必须……

例：To solve the above-mentioned problem, we must work harder than ever before.

    为了解决上述问题，我们必须比以前工作更努力。

⑦ In summary, if we continue to ignore the above-mentioned issue, more problems will crop up.

    总之，如果我们继续忽视上述问题，会有更多问题出现。

⑧ With the efforts of all parts concerned, the problem will be solved thoroughly.

    与所有部门的共同努力下，问题将彻底解决。
