一、get的用法：

1. 得到、获得，如：

1) He's got my bat.

2) Where did you get the book?

2. 到达，如：

Let's see who gets there first.

3. 作为连系动词，后接形容词，表示“变成、变得”。如：

1) The weather gets warmer, and the days get longer.

2) The water in them is being turned into vapour, and they get drier and drier.

4.收到，如：

1) I got a letter from Tom this morning.

2) Can I get BBC on your radio?

5. get的过去分词got与have构成have got=have,表示“拥有，有”（口语中常用）。如：

1) I've got a headache.

2) Have you got a pencil?

6. get+名词（代词）+形容词表示“弄得”，“搞得”，如：

1) Don't get your hands dirty.

2) Don't get your feet wet.

7.[get+名词（代词）+过去分词]表示“请或让人做某事”，类似于''have+名词（代词）+过去分词''“的结构。如：

1) I'll have my hair cut tomorrow.(=I'll get my hair cut tomorrow.)

2) We had the machine repaired.(=We got the machine repaired.)

二、短语或词组的用法：

get up 起床，如：

We get up at six thirty in the morning.

2. get in 收获，收割，如：

They are getting in the crops.

3. get back 取回，如：

I must get it back from him.

4. get into 进，如：

Women and children were the first to get into the lifeboats.

5. get in one's way 挡了某人的去路，如：

If he knocks into womeone, or gets in his way, he says ,"Excuse me" or "I'm sorry."

6. get off 下车，从……下来，如：

The conductor got off and checked the rails.

7. get on 上车，如：

An old woman is getting on the bus.

8. get on well with 与……相处融洽。

I can get on well with the people here.

9. get out离开、出去，如：

She got out and the thankful mother joined her children in the lifeboat.

10. get ready for 为……准备好，如：

They are getting ready for the next year.

11. get rid of 除掉、去掉，如：

The bosses knew that Joe was the soul of the strike and decided to get rid of him.

12. get to know 认识，如：

When did you get to know Jack?
