开学一个多月以来，学校的各项工作都进展得十分顺利。孩子们在各个方面都表现良好，并且取得了很大的进步。我们一年级的小朋友也已经逐渐适应学校生活。在每周一小时的游泳课上他们除了学习到了游泳技能也学会了许多组织管理的能力。在丹桂飘香的金秋，我们还组织了别开生面的重阳节活动，在浓浓的敬老亲情氛围中孩子们也上了一堂极为深刻的品质和社会课。孩子在课堂上也同样踊跃参与学习知识和技能，本月23，24日为学校开放日我们将向各位家长集中展示学生们课堂学习情况。

School this Month
A month into the new academic year and the school is running very smoothly. The students have been very good so far and are making excellent progress. Our P1 students are gradually getting used to
school life. In their weekly swimming hour, they have not only learned how to swim but have also learned a lot about how to organize themselves. In this lovely early Autumn weather we also organized activities for Elders Day. This was a chance for students to show their respect to their Elders and in itself offered students a lesson for life. Our students have come on leaps and bounds in their studies and we look forward to having parents in our school for our Open Days on 23rd and 24th October to learn more about our teaching environment.

Communication between Parents and the
School
The development of our school relies heavily on the support of you, the parents. The Friends of YK Pao School Association is the
bridge for communication between parents and the School and offers the school support in many different respects. Our new set of Class
Representatives was elected on 25th September by parents. These new members of FOYKPS expressed their resolve to work hard to cooperate with the school and their gladness to be involved. We hope with their help the school will be even better in this coming year.
