2010年包玉刚中学即将开学，在筹备中学开学之际，我们在国内外招聘校长。我们的顾问施学德先生和魏白蒂博士负责此招聘委员会，旨在寻找一个出色的校长人选，在包玉刚实验学校的基础上实现创办人的设想—在中国建设一个世界级的寄宿制学校。

    在和一些专业招聘校长的公司接洽过之后，招聘委员会委托英国Littleford & Associates公司寻找。Mr. John Littleford 最近成功地为香港汉基学校寻找到了合适的校长，并且与上海美国学校，北京国际学校以及其他中国的国际学校，美国的独立学校合作。John毕业于哈佛大学中文系，对中国非常熟悉，而且他也曾任校长。

    到目前为止，我们已经收到来自美国，英国和加拿大的所有候选人的强烈响应。在接下来的几个月里，委员会将对候选人进行面试，在今年秋天最终决定人选。

    In preparation for the opening of the YK Pao Secondary School in 2010, we have launched an international search for a Head. Our Advisors, Christopher StuartClark and Dr Betty Wei, are chairing the Search Committee, which has been tasked with finding a Head who can build on the solid foundation of the Primary School to implement the Founders’ vision of creating a world-class boarding school in China.
    After meeting and reviewing several firms specializing in Head searches, the Search Committee has retained Littleford & Associates, based in the US. John Littleford recently completed the successful search for the Head of Chinese International School in Hong Kong and also works with Shanghai American School, International School of Beijing and other international schools in China as well as many independent schools in the US. John is a former Headmaster himself and graduated from Harvard’s Chinese Studies Department, so is very familiar with China.
    The search has received a strong response so far with candidates from the US, UK and Canada. The Committee will be interviewing candidates over the upcoming months before reaching a decision in the autumn.
