The moment the speedboat had struck a buoy, both men were thrown into the water. As it moves off, two men swam towards the shore. Turning a circle, the speedboat ran towards them. After it just missed them, they swam out of danger. When the boat returned, it had lost its speed. Soon the petrol was nearly used up, it floated on the water. (74 words)

Because the speedboat struck a buoy, both men were thrown into the water. Then it turned off. Two men swam towards the shore. While turning a circle, it ran towards them and only just missed them. They no sooner swam out of danger than the boat returned. This time, however it had lost its speed because the petrol had nearly been used up and floated on the water. (76 words)
