自白

别再写这些奇怪的诗篇了
你这一辈子别想做诗人
但是
属于我的爱是这样美丽
我心中又怎能不充满诗意

我的诗句象断链的珍珠
虽然残缺不全
但是每一颗珠子
仍然柔润如初

我无法停止我笔尖的思绪
像无法停止的春天的雨
虽然会下得满街泥泞
却也洗干净了茉莉的小花心

Please don’t write these weird poems any more

Nor dream to become a poet in your lifetime

But
Love that belongs to me is so beautiful
How could my heart not be poetic all over

My verses are like the pearls of a broken chain

Though fragmentary

Each pearl

Still remains as smooth and shining as ever

I cannot hold back the thoughts flowing through my pen nib

Like unable to hold up the lasting spring rain

Although rendering the streets muddy

It also cleans the tiny corolla of the jasmine

诗人简介：
  　 席慕蓉，蒙古族，全名穆伦·席连勃，1943年生于四川重庆,祖籍察哈尔盟明安旗贵族。台湾师范大学艺术系及比利时布鲁塞尔皇家艺术学院毕业。她是台湾知名画家，更是著名散文家与诗人，著有诗集《七里香》、《无怨的青春》、《时光九篇》，散文集《有一首歌》、《江山有诗》，美术论著《心灵的探索》、《雷色 艺术异论》等。她的作品浸润东方古老哲学，带有宗教色彩，透露出一种人生无常的苍凉韵味。
