探寻宝山区大场镇——大场老街

“大场”由来及历史：

相传宋时设盐场于此，因盐场甚大，故名。大场旧时别名“钱溪”、“潜溪”。宋元之际，大场集镇基本形成，曾作为商业活动的通海港口，本地生产的棉布等由此销往闽浙等地及海外。至明代中期的正德至万历年间（1506—1620年）大场集镇已颇具规模。到了清代中期，集镇更趋繁荣，时称“大场虽小三里长，镇上九桥十八弄”（晋、陕布客和徽商均设店于此收买棉花土布，市面繁盛，非至深夜不散。到了清代雍正年间，按经济状况，大场镇始有“铁大场”之美称。

目前，大场老街经过旧区改造工程，老房子动迁已经结束。

场中路银杏*3（400年）、大场公墓遗址（2012年新公布的不可移动文物）、北姚湾天主堂、基督教大场堂；
