The White Tea Fairy

---Narration for live tea-making performance

［Prelusion］

Long long ago, there was a group of fairies frolicking about in the paradise above. And suddenly, when offering a casual glimpse at the world below, they caught sight of a place of wonder, where there were emerald mountains and sapphire waters, with a sweet fragrance of tea trees wafting into the afar.

［Tea-making performance］

Fuding, a place of heavenly mountains and waters, and a place reminiscent of those dancing fairies; Taimu Mountain, the mountain of wonder, is always here nourishing its people of wisdom and industry.

And here is cradle of Fuding White Tea---the eternal delicacy of human efforts, the aroma of which comes from nothing but the spirit of this heavenly place and its industrious people.

White Tea is one of the six traditional Chinese teas, its name originating from its unique production method and the appearance full of white hairs.

Nourished by the mountain dews and spring water, Fuding White Tea is cold in nature, and is therefore effective in cooling down the body and reducing inflammation. It is said that Queen Taimu had used Fuding White Tea to help the people here, such as in curing children measles.

Have a sip of the tea, and you will be embraced by the dream-like fragrance and delicacy, where you would have had a deep understanding of Taimu tea-culture. Touched by the past stories and inspired by a new age of tea culture, just let’s do more to contribute to such a world of wonder.

Covered with silver-like hairs, Taimu Silver Needle is the gem among the many breeds of Fuding Wite Tea. And, being pure and elegant, it is also praised as “slim as the needle, shinning as the silver”.

Look at the needle-like tea-leaves in the glass, they are like spears to start, bamboo shoots to break the ground, orioles to sing, and fairies to dance, full of vigor and passion, spreading a mood of freshness.

Sweet and waterly durable---the tea for travelers. After a whole day’s on-the-travel, a cup of tea will eliminate all the tiredness.

The secret of staying young---the tea for women. One cup of tea a day keeps aging trouble away.

The companion for wine---the tea as a companion. Wine and tea both in hand, that is what successful ones look like.

Last but not least, nerves-soothing---the tea for health. A cup of White Tea is always the guarantee for sleep of sweet dreams.

Where the world of wonder lies, the name of Queen Taimu is remembered;

and when the fairies meet, a pot of White Tea is served.

By the side of Snow Cave, the old tea tree is still seen;

looking beyond the heavenly mountain, a ballad of tea legend is chanted.

Tracing along a history of efforts, the origin of classic is found;

looking into the future, the pursue for quality is not to be changed.

Fined and re-fined, Taimu Silver Needle is always the best;

savor and re-savor, serenity and freshness are always to invite.

How can we refuse to praise:
