杨鸣山，男，1933年出生于俄罗斯，油画家，澳大利亚皇家艺术院院士。1957年毕业于甘肃西北师范学院艺术系，后留校担任助教。1961年新疆艺术学院任教，1978年举家移居澳大利亚，并继续绘画创作，没多久其作品即被当时的澳大利亚总理霍克赞赏不已并委其画肖像。随后多次参加澳大利亚全国性的重要比赛，均获得入围及高名次殊荣。

     杨鸣山先生因肺病不治、不幸于2016年8月5曰上午10:15分于澳洲阿德莱德去世、享年84岁
