Some say the world will end in fire,          有人讲世界将毁于火
Some say in ice.                              有人说它会在冰中殁
From what I've tasted of desire               凭个人的想象来检测
I hold with those who favor fire.             我支持火之说
But if it had to perish twice,                但如果它注定毁灭两回
I think I know enough of hate                 我想我对仇恨了解太多
To know that for destruction ice              知道毁灭之冰
Is also great                                 也强大        
And would suffice.                            完成此举有把握
