In 1986, Chairman Yu came to Angel from a government department. Molasses are needed for the production of yeast. At the end of 1989, Chairman Yu demonstrated making steamed bread on site in front of Wangfujing Department Store in Beijing, which attracted a big crowd. This method is still a marketing approach that many businessmen use. To make steamed bread with yeast, the name of Angel "fermented" in the hearts of millions of households.

Yeast has opened up space from the field of baking, brewing and then to nutrition and health.

In the mid-1990s, Angel developed high temperature resistant yeast for the production of liquor and alcohol, which changed the fermentation process of the liquor industry that lasted for thousands of years.

After setting a firm foothold in both the food industry and the liquor and alcohol industry, Angel again became "restless". Then, Angel re-entered the baking market. After all, in the yeast industry, the baking yeast has higher technical threshold and greater value of development.

Later, Angel gradually made achievements in the baking, seasoning, nutrition and healthcare industries, and brought surprises to the market: aluminum free deep-fried dough stick leavening agent solved "aluminum-harm" from the source; Fubon series filled the blank of domestic yeast source bio-feed; yeast peptone surpassed the international yeast source medium level.

Angel staff, with their yellow skin and black hair, was particularly conspicuous in the huge exhibition hall. In the eye of people from Europe and the United States, modern yeast technology and products seemed unique for them. When they came to Angel's booth, they were all surprised: "Oh! Here is a Chinese company! "

Even in Europe, the birthplace of the modern yeast industry, Angel attracted wide attention. The large enterprises, research institutions in Europe were surprised at Angel's rapid growth.

In fact, Angel's establishment of its first overseas base in Egypt has a profound strategic meaning. First, Egypt is rich in raw materials such as sugar cane and sugar beet; second, its market can radiate North Africa, the Middle East, and even Europe.

Chairman Yu believes that Angel, at the age of 26, is blooming of youth, and there is still a long way ahead. He said: "Angel is to become a large specialized international biotech company."

It only takes Angel 26 years to have grown from a small factory in the western Hubei into a listed company known in the world. This is amazing. In my opinion, two factors mainly contributed to this miracle. First, Angel has chosen its products well and focuses on people's livelihood. Second, Angel has good management and keeps on innovation.

One of the experiences that economic historians have summarized for the states, enterprises and individuals is that one manufactures or does business of commodities that everyone and every household cannot do without if one wants to be rich. It is because the total amount of the market and profits of such things can be large. Table salt, liquor and yeast are things of this kind. We use Angel's products to make steamed bread and rice wine at my home.

Yeast is an ancient and popular thing. The key word for the success of such business is "innovation". Innovation starts with innovative ideas. A company with ancient and popular merchandise will be energetic and invincible if it has a corporate culture of innovation.
