[转载]新的酵母菌株可减少肠易激综合症症状

法国一家公司人类营养部门最近宣布,已经研制出一种直接针对肠易激综合症(IBS)症状的新酵母菌株。 这种菌株可以广泛应用于烘焙食品领域。

此项试验涉及179个肠易激综合征患者,临床研究发现“服用该产品四周之后明显减少消化道不适”。

新的酵母菌株可以预见将在烘焙食品加工中大量使用,因为目前为止还未发现其它菌株有助于减轻肠易激综合症症状。

该公司人类健康商业和市场负责人Benoit Laplaize说,该产品已经研发六年时间,这项工作非常艰难和复杂,特别是在人体试验生物益生菌株,但是该公司对此非常有信心,

 

里尔大学教授皮埃尔承担这项试验,每天要分别给志愿者分配500毫克的Lynside Pro GI+,服用期两个月。

 

New yeast strain could reduce IBS symptoms

 

A new yeast strain has been developed which claims to directly target the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

The human nutrition division of French firm Lesaffre had released the Lynside Pro GI+ strain which will be used in a wide array of bakery products, reports bakerysnacks.com.

A trial involving 179 IBS sufferers found that the product "noticeably reduces digestive discomfort after four weeks of consumption".

The new yeast could see a rise in the production of bakery products as no other strain has been shown to help relieve IBS.

Benoit Laplaize, Lesaffre's human care commercial and marketing director, revealed the firm had been working on the product for six years.
