Before lesson:

1. 解释卡片和奖励机制。

2. Listen to the song< Happy birthday to you>

Step one: Warm up

1. Greeting

2. Say the months

Let read the names of Months.

Step two: Presentation

1. 复习月份的时候引入序数词的运用。

T: OK, Boys and girls. There are twelve months in a year. Which month do you like best?

S: I like…

T: I Like October best. Because there is an interesting festival in October. Do you know? Look at the picture. It’s…

Ss: Halloween.

T: Yes. It’s Halloween. Boys and girls, When’s Halloween?

引入回答:It’s on the thirty-first of October.

出示十月月历,显示十月三十一日。

T: We know how to say this. What about this one?(指十月一日)

S: 教师引导回答It’s the first of October.

同理引入the second of October, the third of October.

以上引入序数词。

T: How to say this?(指四日)

教师出示fourth,由结构引入发音是four + th。教读th发音。

2. Let’s read

读一读对应的序数词。特殊变化的多次朗读。由于第一课时只要求朗读,所以不总结规律。

3. 回到十月月历。

TI like October best. Look, there are some other festivals in October.

圈出重阳节和国庆节。What festivals are they?

S: Double Ninth festival.

T: Yes! When’s the Double Ninth Festival?

S: It’s on the twenty-first of October.

T: When’s the National Day?

S: It’s on the first of October.

T: Yes. And National Day is the birthday of our motherland. And my birthday is in October, too. Do you want to know?

You can ask“ When’s your birthday? ”引入生日讨论。

引导几名学生提问。

(教师引导学生进行提问和回答,在学生表达障碍时提供必要的提示和帮助)

T: It’s on the twenty-second of October.

Now, it’s your turn. When’s your birthday?

You can fill in the blank first.

学生完成填空。

看视频,找出是谁的生日。

头脑风暴,学生一起想一想。

T: Good! I have some others. Let’s have a look.

出示多种词组。读一读并简单解释。

练习一:听录音,找出Su HaiSu Yang做的事情。

练习二:快速阅读,找出Mike做的事情。

,进行文化渗透:他们的生日活动不同,因为他们是不同国度的人。

7. Let’s think.

T: Boys and girls, let’s think: Are they happy?

Ss: Yes.

T: How can you know this? Can you find the sentences.

找出句子: We have a great time. We have a lot of fun.

8. 练读课文,注意语音语调,特别是重音。

9. 多样练读。

10. Let’s retell.

选择方式复根据板书复述课文。

(复述课文是要求比较高的一种口语表达形式。要求学生不仅对课文内容有比较深的了解,而且对句型的掌握要求也比较高。复述课文是锻炼学生口语表达不可多得的一个好办法。所以,在一开始进行的时候,教师可以给学生提供一定的帮助。)

提供表格,让学生先选一选。

根据选择,和同桌说一说。

(和同桌进行口语交流,能减少学生的紧张情绪,让学生进行有效地语言整理,这样有利于接下来的单独表达。给学生更自如的表达机会)

请学生说一说。

总结学生生日做的事情,进行文化渗透:随着时代的发展,中国的生日文化已经吸纳了很多西方元素,中西方生日文化的差异已经不是很明显了。

阅读绘本Happy Birthday, Danny and the Dinosaur!

1. 看图,听老师朗读。

2.学生根据记忆完成短文填空。

Step five: Moral education

Your birthdays are wonderful. Your parents remember your birthday and prepare a lot of presents for you. But I have a question. Do you know your parents’ birthdays. Who knows? Hands up! Not all of us know the birthdays of our Parents. But our parents is the most important people in our life. Boys and girls, Let’s design a birthday party for our parents. Write down your ideas.
