2013年10月21日,我们离开大瀑布后在美国境内过纽约州和缅因州, 隔日往东北过边境入加拿大的新布朗思威克省,再往东到达新斯科塞省的海滨城市海里法克思. 

海里法克思有加拿大的海军驻防基地. 朋友的女儿女婿都在海军服役. 我们的房车在他们家门口停放, 在这里我们逗留了5天. 除了在市内和海边景点游玩外, 还花一天时间开车去了爱德华王子岛.

抽了一天时间, 一早开车去爱德华王子岛. 这是去那儿的轮渡. 比起温哥华到维多利亚的轮渡码头, 这个实在是小. 时间还早, 几乎没有什么人.
