error, mistake, blunder 和 slip 的区别

         答：限于篇幅，还是比较扼要地讲一下吧。这是几个常用而又容易搞混的同义词。error指思想或行动背离了正确的轨道，或没有受到正确的指引，因此而出现的偏差。比如：I pointed out the error in his composition. (我指出他作文中的错处。)

         mistake通常指出处于误解所犯的过失，但是一般不如error严重。比如：He made a serious

         mistake when he chose the law as his profession. (他选择法律为职业，是犯了一个大错。)

         blunder指因为疏忽或愚笨而犯的大错，强调应该受到责备。比如：Sending the bill to the wrong customer was a terrible blunder. (把帐单误送给顾客，是个严重错误。)

         slip指较小的过错。强调出于无心或偶然。比如：This is just a slip of the tongue. (这只不过是口误而已。)
