at the beginning和in the beginning的区别

答：这两个短语所表达的意思没有多大差别, 都表示“开始，最初”。

由于两个短语的唯一区别是所用的介词不同，所以它们的细微差异也就在at 和in表示时间时的差别上：at the beginning所表达的时间一般要比in the beginning所表达的时间长一些。有的时候，这长短也很难说清。比如：in the beginning of the Tang Dynasty（唐朝初期）/ in the beginning of summer（初夏）/ at the beginning of the month（这个月初）。但是，in (at) the beginning of the eighteenth century（18世纪初）中，两个介词都可以用。
