从眉县到太白县，必须走姜眉公路。姜眉公路起于汉中市姜窝子，途经太白县到眉县，经眉县渭河大桥与西宝高速公路相接，全长171.3公里，这条公路是陕西省规划的一条省级干线，其中眉县到太白县段，是姜眉公路的重要路段，全长64.73公里。这条路确确实实被打造成了一条多姿多彩的旅游公路。公路两侧鲜花铺道，乡舍怡然。从蜿蜿蜒蜒公路盘旋而上，路随山势而逶迤，水随山涧而潺潺。

    停车远眺，云雾氤氲在山水之间，群峰竞秀，绿木葱茏，映入眼帘的都是一幕幕仙境。卧佛安然沉睡千年，激起人们无限遐想；三国古关横亘衙岭，向人们述说着英雄的当年。一股股秋风袭来，一个寒噤，让人们顿时理解了“雪域太白，秦岭夏都”的内涵。
