【专访伦敦奥委会主席塞巴斯蒂开场/结束/提纲】
1. Lord Coe, today we come to visit you as the chairman
of
2. 7 years ago, when London was the winning bid for the 2012 Summer Games, what were your first thoughts? 7 years later, how many promises in your proposal have you fulfilled?
3. London is about to become the only city w
hich has hosted the Summer Olympics three times – before the current Games, in 1908 and 1948 respectively. Is London ready now? What is the new image of London you would like to present to the world?
4. When London was bidding for the Olympics, it promised the
highest budget among the five bidding cities. But due to the
financial crisis, budget cuts become a priority. How do you feel
every morning you have to recalculate or even cut your budget
plan?
5.Yes, what you said just reminded me of the classic line “To be or not to be.” So to seize the opportunity regardless of the challenge?
6. How do you respond to the concern that British taxpayers have paid too much to cover the cost of Olympics? How do you convince the British people that it will be a profitable Games as Prime Minister Cameron stated? Is the ticket revenue will be an important contributor? Given the 9 billion pounds investment, is the revenue from later uses of the infrastructure built even more significant?
7. Mr. Samaranch, the former IOC president was saying ““the success of an Olympic Games heavily depends on whether the Opening Ceremonies can impress and surprise the world.” Would you like to share with the Chinese audience a hint about what will impress them the most in the coming Opening Ceremonies?
8. My last two questions are from our audience. The first one is from Cherry Zhang, a college student from Shanghai. She is wondering “How do you set the price for tickets for the games and how could visitors have fun in London with reasonable budget? Second one is from Chris Li, a business consultant from Beijing, he is asking you “What kind of Olympic legacy are you seeking to leave when the games are over?”
