As a tourism practitioner, I learnt 2 valuable points from the
trip of Nepal. The first one is how to handle the sustainable
development of tourism industry.

Trekking around Himalayas is the most attractive experience of Nepal. More and more international tourists flock to this area every year because of wonderful nature landscape, low cost, high quality, friendly locals.

On the Poon Hill, I happened to read an impressive story, which depicted one English explorer came here in 1960s. Please forgive me for forgetting his name (Please send me his name if you know). He was fascinated by the beautiful nature landscape so that he had been here for over 30 years to help local people develop tourism industry.

After he investigated 18 villages around the area, he made a long-term sustainable plan. He educated each village how to provide good service for tourists and keep regulations strictly.

So there are no any vendors to annoy tourists along the trekking, what's more, no local people demange tourists' right intentionally when they run their tourism business, on the contrary, they are always friendly even though tourists refuse their service.

Obviously, it is the explorer who contributed a lot to
sustainable tourism development of the area.

The second point is how to deal with the relationship between tourists and local people. Last day in Nepal, I walked to the Tachupal Square/塔丘帕广场 of Bhaktapur again in the early morning and were thrilled to find out local people were selling vegetables before crowded tourists came here.

Local governors are so smart that tourists and local people share one same quare, furthermore, both of them understand and get along well with each other.

My travel to Nepal was over and thanks for your reading. I
would appreciate you very much if you make comments.
