Tel Aviv is not the capital city of Israel, bu it is usually
the first stop for visitors. The airport is not big, but it is
modern and well decorated.

There was no operating train because of the sabbath. The airport staff instucted us to take the free bus to the downtown of Tel Aviv.
I happened to meet one Taiwan intern, who booked the same
hotel with me, so we talked a lot about our travel experience while
walking to the hotel together.

I started to wander around after a good rest and noticed local
people liked cycling.

There are a lot of very relaxing small
restaurants and shops everywhere.
Bauhaus buildings look very simple, but they have been
inscribed the world cultural heritage site. The building style was
orignal from Germany in 1920s when Jew returned to Tel Aviv from
all over the world.

Carmel Market is one famous fresh one. Local people were
crowded to buy daily goods even in the early morning.

Watch some people shooting film in the market.
It is creative to design such beautiful umbrellas to make cool
shelter for passer-by under the shining sun.

The building seemed so queer. I found one ATM at the entrance,
which I saw people withdrawed money from.

Quiet lanes were hidden behind the
market.

Local people were starting to work on the balcony when they
had their breakfast at the small restaurants.
Have you noted the chairs around the small pavilion? People
could sit on them to drink or eat something.
Tel Aviv is next to the Mediterranean Sea.

Tel Aviv was developed from the Old Jaffa.
Old Jaffa is preserved very well. Most of the old buildings
are transformed into tourism service facilities such as boutique,
restaurants, bars and etc.

The most interesting is one bridge was designed with the
zodiac on the summit. Everyone was told to touch the sign of his or
her own constellation on the bridge to pray to the Mediterranean
Sea. All people believed their wish must come true in the
future.

I had planned to watch one show at night, but I didn't want to
wait for 2-3 hours and had to give up.

Many artists are welcomed to live in this area. They are
encouraged to open their workshops as well.
Many tourists would like to ramble around these graveled
steets and enjoyed losing themselves in such delicate
moments.
I went back to the new part of Tel Aviv along the shore.
The beach was filled with crowded people.
stunning sunset
A lot of high-end hotles are built around the Mediterranean
shore targeted on the vacational tourists.
The full moon reminded me it was the mid-autumn when I walked
back to the hotel.
To be surprised, all public buses, restaurants, shops would
close when the sukkot happened. The sukkot is designed to memorize
jewish ancestors, who suffered a lot in Egypt before they came back
to Israel 2000 years ago.
