There are a lot less-famous but worth-visiting attractions in
Yunnan province. For an example, the Dianchi/滇池 and E'hai/洱海 are
much more renowned by tourists, but few people know the Fuxian
lake/抚仙湖, just 60 kilometers south away from Kunming. In fact, its
size is only inferior to Dianchi and E'hai in Yunnan province, but
it is the second deepest fresh-water lake across China.
There is a river connecting the Fuxian Lake and Xingyun Lake/星云湖.
What's the most interesting is two kinds of fish in two lakes don' t meet each other at all. They will return to their own's lake when they arrive at the border of Jieyu stone/界鱼石.
Jianshui/建水古城 is an ancient city located in the south of Kunming. The old gate building looks like the Tian'anmen in Beijing.
Local people are still living along the old streets.
To my surprise, Mr. Zhu Family's Garden has been preserved well for over 100 years.

Can you imagine the old rail station was built in 1928?
It tries to keep its original.
The fog started to pervade everywhere.
Fortunately, we could see some terrace when we drove to the
Ha'ni Terrace.
We got up early to see sunrise, but the fog was so dense that it was impossible for us to see the sunrise.
However, we happened to experience the authentic local lifestyle in the early morning.

The sky became blue and the sun came out.
We saw the fantastic terrace finally.
It was so amazing that the mountain was transformed into the terrace by local people. What's more, the rice was planted in the terrace.
The terrace changed its colors depending on the weather.
Hani Terrace was inscribed into the world cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 2013 because of its priceless treasure.
Reportedly, it becomes the most beautiful when the water is
poured into the terrace at the late winter and spring.
The terrace looks like one kind of exquisite artwork combining the human being and nature.
